Always fabulous

I have stayed at other properties managed by same folks and it was equally as good. The amenities are just as described and it is the perfect property for a large family get together or just enjoying private time on the lake. Kids and kids at heart will enjoy the games provided. Location was easy to get to and conveniently located to community amenities as well.

We've stayed at properties from the mountains to the coast for Christmas and this was by far the best! House was well stocked, location was excellent and view outstanding. We'll be looking to stay in the spring/summer to take advantage of the lake.

Family Thanksgiving

The house had lots of nice touches- coffee for the Keurig, some basic spices- the kitchen was very well equipped. We all enjoyed the fire pit, with a nice supply of firewood. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, and the game room was a big hit with them

Great girls weekend getaway

Our trip to Sunny Daze was perfect. Wr had to make a fairly quick change in locations for a girl’s getaway as original plans had us meeting in Asheville and Helene struck. Very lucky that this property was available and perfectly fit our needs. The owners were great to work with and communication was top notch. The home itself was immaculate, comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen which is perfect for our group who lives to stay in to cook meals. The charging stations readily available throughout the house was great extra touch! The game room was fantastic and the amenities inside and outside were beyond what I would have expected. The grounds were lovely and we spent much of our time on the beautiful screened in back deck. Everything about this location was 10/10. I’m hoping to come back with my immediate family in the future. I highly recommend Sunny Daze.

Great house in great location!

We just ended our stay at Sunny Daze and already miss it! Can't ask for a better location - the cove it's situated on is quiet and easy to get out to the open water for days of fun! It's also just minutes to Harris Teeter, Dairi-O for ice cream, Big Daddy's, and so much more which was nice to not have to ride 20-30mins to get anywhere! More time for the lake! The house was a great setup for our group of 5; plenty of room to spread out and came with everything we needed to make us feel at home! Nicely decorated, clean, and lots of fun competition in the game room downstairs. The welcome guide you get to prepare for your trip is also super helpful too. We had no issues while we were there, which made it even more wonderful. Thank you Jess!

Fantastic!

Sunny Daze was the perfect house for our family to enjoy a week together on Lake Norman! The house was large and roomy with great views of the Lake! Everything has been beautifully updated inside the house! GThe game room was PERFECT for the kids for the days that rained! All the little extras provided by Jessica and Adam (owners) are SO appreciated! The kayaks, and water toys were great and the dock was perfect for our boat and jet skis! Once we can narrow down a date for next summer, we will for sure be reaching out to see if Sunny Daze is available for rent!! Thanks for everything Jessica and Adam!!

Perfect lake getaway

We rented for the 4th of July with friends, the house is the most renter friendly stay that I have had. The owners thought of everything, including labeling everything to take any mystery out of it! We had plenty of room for 2 ski boats and a jet ski, and the many high quality noodles were a big plus. Overall I give it a 5+ star review!

Our family enjoyed everything about this home. All of the amenities, the layout, the beds, rec room, lake toys and dock were thoughtfully provided—aside from picking up food at the grocery on the way in, we needed nothing else. Thanks Jess for opening your home to us!!

Family Vacation

Our family had never been to Lake Norman, but a few friends have visited and loved it. We decided to give it a shot and found this property on VRBO. It has great rating and the reviews were awesome. We booked a 7 day stay with 8 family members and dogs. It was the perfect place! The property has everything you need. The accommodations for all family members exceeded our expectations. The owners have thought of everything right down to the lights surrounding the fire pit! We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

Awesome Family Trip

My wife, two teenage kids and I spent an awesome 4 days at this beautiful home on the lake. Jessica's communication was awesome from the weeks leading up to the trip and also during it as well which made everything so easy. Additionally, I have stayed at many VRBO homes at Lake Norman and we have never experienced a home that was set up as conveniently as this one and the check out process was a breeze as well. We used the fire wood that is provided by the owners to get a fire going each of our 3 nights and that is a nice added bonus. We spent the nights by the fire enjoy lots of laughs and a good time. While hanging out by the fire at night, we kept a couple of fishing rods in the water with cat fish bait and we caught a really big one which was a blast as well. We caught a couple of bass as well during the day. We used the kayaks and SUPs each of the days which is another great bonus that allows you to get out on the water to enjoy the lake more. The view off the back of the yard is absolutely beautiful and we spent a lot of out time out back. Inside, they have a great game room that we enjoyed quite a bit. 65 inch TVs ready for easy streaming and really strong wifi service. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home and I would not be surprised if my family and I stay here again in the future. Awesome trip!!!

The BEST last-minute getaway

This property looks exactly as advertised. Excellent home to rent for a family getaway. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities. The home is sitting directly on Lake Norman, perfect spot for fishing. My son caught his first bass here. It was so exciting. The house was very clean and well stocked. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Perfect Escape!

Raised the bar for what a VRBO experience can be! Hosts have thought of absolutely everything - we have never had a stay that didn't involve a store run for a needed item to cook, store food, clean, enjoy amenities or otherwise. Communication was prompt and through too. This was a last minute, short stay but we are already checking calendars and hoping to return later this spring/summer.

Nice home

The house is exactly as it is described. It’s very clean and welcoming with a lot of space. Everything is well labeled and organized. They stock it with toiletries and all the kitchen supplies you’d need. We were there off season but the neighborhood was quiet. It’s a very nice home with a quaint spot on the lake. We didn’t use it but the dock was large and looked brand new. Lots of stores and restaurants close by. We didn’t need to contact the owners for anything but check-in/out was the easiest out of all the homes I’ve rented over the years. We would rent again from Lake Escape. It seems like a well run rental company.

20th Anniversary Trip

We wanted a relaxing fall getaway for our 20th anniversary. We LOVED this home - beautiful, well kept, every single thing we needed, easy walk to the water and so much to do. Exceptional Home

This home had everything our family could need to enjoy a short lake vacation. The home was fully stocked for all of our indoor and outdoor needs. Jess was very responsive when there was an issue and overall, was very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this vacation rental.
