Newly renovated 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage. All new furnishings and appliances Spring 2019. Enough parking to bring your boat and the landing is 1 block away. Enjoy Shem creeks famous restaurants and nightlife. There are 18 restaurants, 2 coffee shops and a beverage super store all just a short walk from your home away from home. With outdoor TV for those fall football games this home has much to offer. The beaches of Sullivans island and Isle of Palms are 10 and 12 minutes drive while historic Charleston is only 15 minutes away. Pet Friendly with a fenced in back yard you will not be disappointed. Nice home and great location
We have stayed in Mt Pleasant 4 times. This was our favorite place. Home was clean and furniture comfortable. Even though kitchen was well equipped the owner(Joe) told us to let him know if there was anything else we needed. Joe was very responsive to any questions we had. We already booked it for our next trip. Forgot to mention-the location is fantastic.

Not worth the price
The rental has a number of things that could have been better for the guests: - musty odour in unit upon arrival - floors could be better cleaned - leave a new/fresh vs used cleaning sponge at kitchen sink for new guests - a dish drying mat would be useful - BBQ should be cleaned prior to guest arrival - lighting fixtures (LR lamp, main bathroom) had burnt out bulbs (not checked prior to our arrival) - more cupboard space would be useful for guests, perhaps where there was a mirror above dishwasher, or a floating island - not enough plates and cutlery to last more than a day or two without washing them - a glass measuring cup would be useful for cooking/baking - should be more than 3 hangers in every closet - should be a mirror in guest/main bathroom, and possibly a full-length mirror somewhere - main bathroom should have a fan, hooks to hang towels, bar of soap for shower/bath - couple boxes of kleenex tissues would be handy - squeaky door hinges - main bathroom hairdryer attachments don’t fit the hairdryer The positive takeaways from this rental were: The rental is walking distance to restaurants, a Java shop, beer and liquor stores, Pitt St historic few shops in Mt. Pleasant, and a short drive into historic Charleston. The kitchen had sharp cutting knives. -

Great stay
The house was very comfortable, and everyone enjoyed their stay. The location is perfect with easy access to shopping, restaurants and the historic districts. You can also take a nice walk down to Shem Creek. I highly recommend this home.

Unbeatable location
This home is in a fantastic location. Everything you need is in walking distance, we walked up the street to Vintage Coffee for breakfast and had drinks at Shem Creek. Downtown Charleston and the beaches are just a short drive away. We had an unsettling check in experience with multiple unexpected friends of the host coming by. While the host was apologetic and considered this when working with us when we needed to leave a day early, I would have expected to hear from him more throughout the stay to check in on the group.
