Please accept my apologies for your recent visit to the TownPlace Suites in Plano. Our company purchased this hotel on January 2. We are in the process of renovating the hotel and re-training all the staff. We have made several changes over the last several days. I am confident that within two weeks you will be able to see the difference in the service. It will take us a little longer to upgrade the physical building. Again please accept our apologies.

Rude, Noisy & Inconvenient

Front desk staff are poorly trained and do not know what they are doing regarding the use of their computer reservation systems.  Be careful as they will attempt to bill you again for prepaid Travelocity bookings.  The staff seem unable to accomplish simple everyday tasks necessary to run a front desk - it's bewildering.  Additionally, the front desk staff were often belligerent, rude and not helpful; It makes for a highly unpleasant stay. Rooms have poor sound-proofing and depending on location can be quite noisy very early in the morning (i.e.: free breakfast guests and elevator).

It was a good room for the price.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
It was a great room for the price. I would recommend for anyone looking for a good value. Fair price, clean room, good service and good location.

Marritt TownePlace Plano

Pathetic - avoid this place besides the fact that the TV is a 19 inch sitting on a table at the foot end of the bed and has only about a dozen of the many more available channels on the satelite service and the air conditioning did not work in the first room they gave me, when I attempted to call the front desk to ask about wireless no one answered. After several minutes of letting the phone ring I got dressed and went to the desk to find it unmanned. Returning to my room I called Travel online & they had the same experienceof no one answering and arranged a refund so I checked out.
