It was just as described. But it actually seemed a little bigger than I thought it would be. Just perfect, really.
It was quite an adventure. The initial drive was a little scary for my wife, but, hey, that's a part of the adventure! It turned out just fine. She got used to the roads. I did all the driving anyway
We had some wonderful sunsets. The bed was very comfortable. I hate it when beds are too hard. Though it's an old cabin, it really has all the amenities you need. The heat and AC worked just fine. We had both cold and warm weather, sunny and stormy. It even had a TV in an old cabinet where we watched the Women's NCAA finals in basketball.
I loved all the little details of things in the cabin. So much to look at. We did have a couple dogs show up just like others have said. They are super friendly and gobble up all leftovers, lol. We left a box of Milk Bone dog treats for them for the next people to use.
We saw three things while we were there. We went to Franklin, IN for the totality of the eclipse, and then to the Ark Encounter, and Creation Museum, both about an hour from the cabin. There are plenty of restaurants in Madison, IN. My wife really loved Mo's BBQ in nearby Vevay.
