The Tipi was a unique and wonderfully fun experience and we loved the location! We (two adults, two children) spent three nights at the tipi and it was just right in size for that number of people. The location was close to plenty of amenities, gas, restaurants, the awesome town of Wimberley and quite a few wineries, yet had a hill country vibe.
I would not recommend going if it’s chilly. While we were there, the nights dipped down into the twenties and the heater unit in the tipi does not produce much heat, if any, so I wouldn’t recommend going in the winter months. We also noticed the tipi tarp over the top was blown off and there were several open holes in the roof (and spare tarps in the tipi which I imagine is for rain coming in) so avoid going during rain season or rain in the forecast cause you will get wet!
The property owner/manager was super responsive and was able to take care of questions and take action quickly. The bathroom and property were very clean and we enjoyed the common area for grilling, outdoor cooking, eating and my girls loved the tree swings! All in all, a unique and fun experience and we will be back!
