The good: Morgan is an EXCELLENT communicator. We were very clear on where we were going and how we were getting in when we headed to her home, and when we got there it was marked and lit and welcoming. It's decorated beautifully, and the creek is very peaceful. We had nearly every streaming service we could want, and Morgan is generous enough to leave coffee and creamer in the room for guest use. There were towels galore, and I even found a curling iron. The location is also very good- we were minutes from lots of good eats, downtown, and Biltmore.
The not so good: I noticed a few things here and there that have been missed when cleaning. It's overall clean, just some details that haven't been touched in a minute. Also, the toilet became a constant bit between my partner and I because it doesn't flush well and takes FOREVER to refill. There was a plunger very nearby, and we needed it. The bed seemed like it might, very literally, be on its last legs. And finally, I want to really, really emphasize for people coming to VRBO looking for a whole home- THIS IS A ROOM THAT IS ATTACHED TO THEIR HOME AND SEPARATED BY AN INTERIOR DOOR. We had the idea that it shared the property, but it's straight up just the right side of the home, and you can clearly hear each other.
The bad: Dogs. They have at least two dogs and they stay by the separating door when their family isn't home and just bark. This is annoying, and was a nightmare when I was trying to sleep off a migraine.
