Rainy Week at Hyco lake
My extended family stayed for the week of June 17-24. It is not often that it rains most of the day for 5 days in a row, but we were just unlucky with this week. The house is very nice, beds all very comfortable. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. It lacked a blender and only had one large bowl. The coffee maker is a little glitchy, but it makes coffee. Some parts of the house looked like they were just beginning a paint job, patched places on some walls. The basement bedrooms look like fairly new additions and are not quite done. I'm sure this will be temporary. The internet connection is terrible. It has an AT&T hotspot that is totally inadequate. Even with the weather, our family had a nice time. The internet problem would probably get a no vote from most of my family for going back to this property again. The host was great. Responds quickly to messages. Had someone over quickly to remedy a toilet problem.

Beautiful location and home
Wonderful location and home, our entire family enjoyed everything the property had to offer. There's a dock with access to the lake for swimming or fishing (we did both). The beds are super comfy and there are so many things to do in the house. The only dowmside we had was with the internet, we had no service and the wifi is really in and out or laggy. However, we didn't mind as this gave us all time to unplug and connect as a family.

Perfect way to unplug!
We booked Fancy Like for a few days of rest. I had seen the reviews that the internet was not always working so I was prepared. When we arrived the internet was not working and was still not working before we left BUT it was the best thing ever. It forced us to unplug and disconnect. You could get service when on the lake and some times I could get two bars on my phone in the house. I was able to get text messages or read through my reading app, that’s all I needed! There was plenty to do at the house: hanging out on the deck, enjoying the fire pit or hot tub, playing ping pong or foze ball. The owner also had a bunch of board games. The property was private and on our last night the skies were clear so we could watch the sunset from the deck and hot tub. The house was stocked, all you needed to bring was food and your clothes. The downstairs basement looked like it was just renovated, the two bedrooms downstairs were really nice. It is obvious the owner cares about the house, lots of love went in to turn it into a perfect getaway.

Won’t be staying here again…
Let me start off by staying this property is in a great private location but if you stay here be prepared to work! Day 1: My son and I arrived around 8pm on check in day, before my wife and daughters, to a dirty house. Dirty towels laying on the floor upstairs and downstairs, 4 of the bedrooms had beds that were either dirty or had no bed sheets on them. There was trash in the bathrooms. Used Kleenex on the floors. My son and I had to do 5 loads of laundry and put new bedspreads and sheets on 4 beds. I reached out to Jeremy and he apologized and offered to wave the cleaning fee.(still waiting on the refund). Day 2: I woke up to a unhappy wife and 3 daughters due to little or no water pressure. It took my wife 30m just to take a shower due to a small stream of water coming out of the shower head. Wrapping up: I will not stay at a property that is managed by this property manager ever again! I am still waiting on the small compensation Jeremy promised us to make up for the worst VRBO Experience we have had! If it wasn’t for Shannon and Kevin(boots on the ground) we would of asked for a complete refund and stayed somewhere else!

Great escape!
My family and I had the absolute best time. We docked our boat at the house for easy access to the lake for fishing and tubing. Beautiful location and private. We also fished from the dock and floated on tubes in the cove. The house had plenty of room for our large crowd and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was nice size and not cramped while cooking. Ample kitchen tools and pots and pans. The walkway down to the boathouse is steep definitely gave our legs a workout but there is an additional driveway down to the boathouse which we did take advantage of as needed. The hot tub was great and the kids loved the basement game room with a ping pong table and fooseball. Internet was sketchy and sporadic we did not have service on the tv and our phones for most of our stay. We didn’t mind though, just enjoyed the out side deck with plenty of seating while my grandson entertained us with his guitar. We did make one trip to the local Dollar General for a few items which was close by. Overall a great trip and would definitely book again!

Great property and very spacious
This home was absolutely perfect. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy each and we all had our own space. There was even 2 cribs and a twin size bed that didn't get used. The home had 2 master suites. 3 other rooms with queen sized beds and yes of those rooms had a crib. Them there is another bedroom with a twin sized bed. There is a bathroom for 3 bedrooms to share upstairs and spacious. Main level has master suite and half bath. Finished basement has mastersuite plus an additional full bathroom for other bedroom and entertainment area. The lake was breathtaking and we even got to meet the lake dog who is so cute and friendly. The internet and TV didn't work for most of stay but we didn't care as we weren't there most of the days and played games at night. The only down side is the carpet is very light so when it rained it gave me a little anxiety making sure it was kept clean. The main floor master bedroom is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on!! I'm 5 feet tall and needed my hubby to help me get in it though!! Bottom line this property was so perfect and we will definitely be back next year!

Father's Day BBQ
We thought the property was absolutely gorgeous. Lots of room inside, with a deck overlooking the lake. The added plus was the fire pit and hot tub on the deck. Family enjoyed them both. Location, Location, Location! We were located at the end of the lake, so no water traffic.... Suggest that you let your next customers know that if they plan to rent a boat/jet skis etc., they need to do so at the same time that they reserve the home. We tried to rent a boat and jet skis when we arrive and all were taken for the weekend. Our plan is to reserve this property again next year for a longer period! We loved it!
