Disappointing
We were disappointed there was no microwave in the room. No microwave in the breakfast dining area on the first floor which we could use either! The breakfast was disappointing with cold potatoes, eggs, and pre-made waffles. There were clumps of potatoes on the floor for over 20 minutes and no employees picked up the food, despite the fact there was a guy behind the bar nearby who was standing there looking around doing nothing. The coffee in the room was poor, and there were insufficient creamers and sugars to dampen the poor taste. The only 2 powdered creamers we tried to use left the coffee very black. Liquid creamers in cups, instead of powder packages, could probably make the coffee palatable. There was only one tissue in the tissue dispenser in the bathroom when we arrived. It appeared that someone (possibly the cleaning staff) stuffed the one tissue in the dispenser and left it that way. Because we arrived late in the evening, we had to go down to the front desk the following morning and request a box of tissues. The grounds and the building themselves are attractive, but our experience left us disappointed.
