I arrived at 8:15p to check in. The power went out at 10:30p. Not a big deal, but an inconvenience nonetheless. I went to talk to the front desk, and they said they were getting off and the new shift was coming on. It was late so I tried to go to sleep. I was unable to sleep well due to the staleness of the room and rising temperature. When I woke up sweaty for the next day, I was unable to shower because the power was still out. I was unable to eat the breakfast, which was a determining factor of buying this room. So I left stinky and hungry to work all day. When I checked out, I asked how I was to be compensated for these inconveniences, and the girl at the desk said she had no idea. I asked to speak to a manager, and they were nowhere to be found. My problem is not that the power went out, or the inconveniences it incurred. It is the mismanagement of something like this. It has been three days, and still no answer. I basically paid 200 to live like a homeless person, and management couldn’t care less apparently.
