Carlos helped our group with reservations and transportation. Ocean front room was great but 5/6 in our group had to change rooms at some point. They did not give me the Ocean front room the first night as they stated that the rooms were all full. Another couple in our group checked in after us and got an ocean front room that they did not book. Staff work very hard all day and are friendly. Hotel itself is showing signs of wear and could use some sprucing up. Buffets were great especially for breakfast and lunch. Specialty restaurants were good.but maybe a little under staffed. We saw whales from the beach which was awesome. Close to the marina for excursions and a short taxi ride to the Malecon.

We love the efficiency, politeness, and friendliness of all of the staff. That is what keeps us coming back for eight years now. The restaurants were excellent. The buffets were very good. The grounds are well kept and clean.

Property is in serious need of upgrades and maintenance. Air conditioners don’t keep up and even with a box fan that was in the room you could not spend time in the room in the afternoon as it is too warm. Would be nice to have smart TVs to log into for streaming services so you could watch tv without needed to know Spanish. Needs paint on the exterior of the building to dress it up a bit.

My husband and I spent 8 nights at this adults only all inclusive resort. We enjoyed our stay and there were both positive and negative aspects to the resort. Positives: the pools were beautiful and well kept up. The drinks were flowing and nobody ever pushed for a tip (but we enjoyed tipping). The Consierge desk was very helpful and helped my husband plan a birthday surpise for me. Negatives: the buffet food was just ok. Making reservations for the 6 restaurants between the 2 resorts felt a little like the Hunger Games (we felt smug when we got to eat at each restaurant but also felt bad for those who couldn't figure out the app). Our room had a smell coming from the shower drain that you just couldn't get rid of. We also noticed a similar smell in other parts of the resort.

For the most part, we were happy with our room. While it needed some updating and repair, it was clean, serviceable and spacious for the two of us. There were only 2 days we had cold water in the morning, but it’s Mexico. By the afternoon, the water was fine.
