Let me start by saying that the staff was SUPER NICE! I have not one complaint about those fine, hard-working people.
I only went from the desk to my room and back out again, so I can't speak for the entire facility, but for where I was, everything was relatively clean.
My BIGGEST COMPLAINT is the fact that they are STILL USING METAL KEYS THAT ARE INSERTED INTO A KEYHOLE and THE DOOR ONLY HAD ONE LOCK AND NO LATCH!
Look, I get it. Key cards can be duplicated, too, and far easier than a physical key can. But the fact that there was no latch on the door really makes me think people who aren't as street savvy as I am or who have no way to protect themselves might want to consider staying somewhere else.
Also, though I don't have a problem with this, I got the feeling that this is somewhere where people stay long-term as well, which means that if there IS some security workaround, someone here just might know it.
Lastly, there was no iron in the room, though I admit I never asked for one.
In summary, other than my feelings that personal security might be a concern for some travelers, the staff was great, the facility was clean, and the room was huge. If they upgraded their security, I would have rated everything much higher. But as a father of 3 women and a young son, security is a high priority of mine.
