Knowing my flight from LA to NYC was going to be delayed, upwards to 5 hrs, I called the Hotel to find out if there were any issues of me arriving late,, I called once more knowing that being late was there still going to be a Shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Customer service rep said that the service would stop @11Pm. bu that I should call the desk any way and that they would send a car. I landed @ 1:30 PM, called and was told a driver wouldn't be send that I should take a taxi.. the only ride i could would was a car service...which charged $55... once I got to the hotel, the desk people could have cared less that I was there. Blunt, a cursory greeting,,, Frankly i was truly disappointed, I don;t need special service but a kind word or greeting would have been nice after 14 hours of flying.
