Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. The location of the Mammoth Mountain Inn can't be beat. We had a view of the lifts and the main lodge. In the morning you can just walk right out to the lifts. The staff are terrific and always helpful and knowledgeable. The lobby areas are old school mountain lodge and really comfortable and welcoming. The only drawback to the property is that the rooms are vastly out of date. The bathroom is like a closet and the heating system is an old fashioned wall heater that was difficult to adjust.

For the most part its an average hotel. It's a little rough around the edges and the first floor rooms can hear people walking around on the floor above. But its clean. The spas weren't that hot. But because its easy walking distance to the resort and lifts its a desirable place to stay. Means you can park at the hotel and not worry about the hassle of finding parking and walking a mile to the resort. That's a huge plus.

Clean w very helpful staff condo room we stayed in functional but a bit dated Liked the fact it was dog friendly and if we were to come back would stay there Provided lots of services and enoties clearly geared towards skiing/snowboarding even shovels and brushes for those who did not bring any equipment to clean off their cars be careful though of walking around due to slippery conditions inherent in winter acitivities/vacations
