End of week 3 night accommodation.
Overall impressions of the Royal National were very good. It stands on a very busy road but provided excellent transport links to the capital. Bus stops were right outside and Russell Square tube station a short walk away. It is a very busy hotel and check in was a very long drawn out encounter. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. There are plenty of door card operated lifts throughout the building. The rooms are comfortable for your stay. The beds provided a good nights sleep and also with the rest of the room are very clean. The rooms appeared to have been recently refurbished. The bathroom like the rest of the room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The shower provided a very refreshing start to the day. Towels were of good quality. Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities were provided. There is an onsite shop for food, drink & essentials but beware it charges heavily inflated London prices. There are several far cheaper well known convenience shops a short walk away. Overall a good few days stay. We would certainly stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel it was really central for everything and easy to get around to places. The breakfast was fantastic with lots to choose from and the room was adequate for our weekend stay

Prioritization of existing guests.
During my recent stay at a hotel in London, I encountered an inconvenience with my card key not working, along with several other guests experiencing the same issue. Upon attempting to address the problem at the front desk, I was informed that I would need to wait in line with other guests checking in before my key could be reprogrammed. Despite the simple task of reprogramming a key, I found it frustrating to wait in line alongside new arrivals, especially as my dinner grew cold. However, rather than continue to wait, I opted to enjoy my meal in the dining area while awaiting resolution. While in the dinning area i was told that it was hired/booked for a speacial functyion so i was told to go and eat in the reception area. As a first-time visitor to London, this experience marred an otherwise pleasant stay at the hotel. I believe that guests experiencing key card issues should be given priority to swiftly address such inconveniences and ensure a seamless experience during their stay. Overall, I appreciated the hotel amenities and the comfortable accommodations, but suggest improvements in prioritizing and expediting key card reprogramming for guests to enhance their overall satisfaction with their stay.

Royal National Hotel.
Rooms were pretty average but good value for money. They were clean and serviced daily. Staff were friendly and polite. There is a cafe, shop and pub but i didn't visit any of these
