The Simonton was exceptional in all areas. Clean, comfortable, courteous and helpful staff. Has such a wonderful, historical background. Would highly recommend. Will definitely go back.

The property is lovely and loaded with charm. It is in a great location. Our room was a great size and beautiful and peaceful. Things we did not like about the room, most could be easily addressed by the staff. The floors, while dust mopped every day are filthy. Make sure you are wearing shoes or socks you don't care about. The mattress needs replaced. Luggage racks would have been nice since there was no place to put luggage or unpack. The sofa cushions needed replaced. The bathroom was tiny and there really is nothing they can do about that. Know when they say parking is for compact cars, they aren't kidding! The staff was friendly and were seen a lot. Just a few changes and it would have been great.

Relaxing luxury near Duval Street
This is tropical paradise in the middle of town! We were upgraded to a spacious cottage (2 bed, 2 bath) next to one of the 4 tempting pools with comfortable lounge chairs. The rooms are historic and charming. The staff (esp Hamza and Violet) were great - at checkin helping with parking, at breakfast, and ordering a "bag breakfast" for the morning we had to leave early. The cleaning staff and landscapers were unobtrusive but did a great job! We hope to stay there again!

We had an excellent night here. Location was perfect. Our room was very clean amd had everything we needed. The property is beautiful. We will definitely try and stay there again.
