We had a corner, first floor room which was great for being quiet and my arthritis. We were close to the dog walking area for.our puppers' (and my) convenience. The room was pretty newly remodeled and so everything was clean. The only bad thing was the air conditioner wasn't giving cooled air at all. Luckily the weather cooled at night. I didn’t notice the first day. I thought I was just having hot flashes. Then when I checked it definitely wasn't cold air coming out. I even turned the temperature down to 60. In the hotel's derense, I didn't tell them about the broken ac until we went home (we stayed 5 nights) By the time we realized it wasn't really working we were settled in the room and I really liked its location. I figured they'd probably want us to change rooms. I don't travel "light" and moving to a different room would have been a hassle. I would have given a 5 stars all around had they offered a small discount for the trouble of the malfunctioning ac, but they didn't and I didn't ask, again too much hassle. The breakfast was average, just hard boiled eggs, toast, apples and cereal. It wasn't enticing enough for us to get up early to eat there, so we only ate breakfast from the hotel breakfast twice. The hotel staff were all very nice.
