Are stay was from Feb 25th - Mar 2nd 2024. It was a nice hotel for the most part. Staff was friendly. I would like to give a shout out to Federico who greeted us and took care of our luggage. He is a very kind gentlemen. I saw and chatted with him everyday he was working. He made me feel ever so welcome. I left him a butterfly drawning I did and he loved the keep sake. As far as the property it self, it is in need of some updating. During our stay some issues arose (elevator button for my floor stopped working, water pipes burst in lower level corridor), but maintenance took care of. The buffet choices could of been better with more options. I understand people who drink (for free) tend to lose themselves. But the music and the people at bar could be heard from all areas of the hotel in the evening, especially from my room.

We have stayed at this property in the past and it was always a decent property and we knew what to expect in terms of dining options when going into this. The property is in desperate need of updating and is looking very run down. As for rooms - well for starters we chose this resort for its great views. The room I had had hair all over the shower walls. The toliet seat was not attached to the toliet and the blow dryer did not work. On my balcony I only had a small table with no seating, however the other members of my party had chairs on theirs. General cleanliness was lacking. The staff however were wonderful. Check in process was brutal and slow - but that can't be blamed on the staff themselves. I understand that many resorts are still recovering from the pandemic but a little more attention to detail would be great.

Property is beautiful but needs to be sprayed for mosquitos badly, I was eaten alive. There were also people complaining about bed bugs:0 Food was ok, staff is great, Property and water is amazing.
