Girona Cathedral has one of the largest Gothic naves in the world. The setting for series such as Game of Thrones is a must see when visiting Girona. Just a few minutes walk from the Basilica of Sant Feliu you will find the Cathedral of Gerona, a symbol of the city with more than 5 centuries old. Located at the top of the municipality, its only nave is the second largest in the world, only behind San Pedro del Vaticano. The 90 steps of the spectacular staircase will take you to the front door.

You will find the best exponent of Catalan Gothic in the Basilica of Sant Felix. The church of San Félix or Sant Feliu2 is a basilica3 located in the city of Gerona, originally from the early days of Christianity. It houses the offices of the Parroquia Mayor de Sant Feliu of the Bishopric of Gerona, so called because this was the main temple in Gerona before the construction of the cathedral.4 Its construction, in honor of the martyr Saint Felix, lasted since the century XII to XVII and conserves a good part of the Romanesque building, later completed with the Gothic naves and roofs and the Baroque façade. The main attraction is made up of eight extraordinary Roman and early Christian sarcophagi from the 3rd and 4th centuries, 5 found when the church was built, together with the Gothic tomb of Sant Narcis.
