Canyon de Chelly has over 2700 archeological sites with over 700 standing ruins. The canyon is the 2nd largest canyon in the United States and all Authorized Guides are certified by the National Park Service. Canyon De Chelly Tours won the TripAdvisor HALL of FAME Award this year (2018). We offer two types of Tours, a Group or a Private Tour. The Group Tour is with other People and it's a 3 hour tour only. Private Tours, you decide how many hours you want to spend in the canyon. There are plenty of Rock Art and Ruins and hear the History and Culture of the Ancestral Pueblo, Hopi and Navajo Indians.

We offer 4 Wheel Drive and Hiking Tours throughout the Canyon's magnificat Beauty. The canyon is 131 square miles or 83,340 acres and the walls go up to 1,000 feet in height. All tours depart from the Best Western Motel in Chinle (AZ). There is a Two Dollar fee per person for your Back County Permit.

Our company vehicles are very comfortable and well maintained. Nobody runs Air-conditioned Vehicles in the canyon, they tend to Vapor Lock.

Bring water, snacks, camera, binoculars and the 2.00 USD (cash) per person for your Back Country Permit. Your Tour Guide will help you get this Permit. Make sure you dress appropriately for your tour with comfortable Clothing and Shoes.
