Laid-back San Diego offers everything we love about California in spades including 70 miles of pristine coastline, sun-drenched beach days and a gorgeous mountain backdrop. Beach life dominates, but do check out stellar Balboa Park and walkable central neighborhoods like North Park, Hillcrest and Little Italy.
The property is well maintained and located in the heart of the marina and Gaslamp district.
We really enjoyed the convenience of the location of the hotel. It was close to everything, including the city transit services.
Centrally located and great price. Room was very nice with complementary water, coffee and fresh cookies on the bed.
Quiet, clean but yet nice and close to town. Staff was very niceand helpful
The hotel is in an ideal location, it's a beautiful property and the staff is very friendly and professional other than the person who checked us in at the front desk. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean. Only complaint is the pool is way too small.
Staff was wonderful, our room had a beautiful view of the vineyards. Receptionist was so lovely during our check in, was able to store my mom’s surprise cup cakes while we went wine tasting until we could check in!
Classy and fun place to stay. We really liked the location right on the edge of the Gaslamp Quarter. There was so much within walking distance. We also liked the 207 bar and MaryJane's. We got great service from everyone who helped us, from the parking valet all the way to checkout. It was lively ...
Like: The property is situated where you can access water from both directions! Dislike: You have to pay an additional fee per day to park your vehicle.
Staff were great. Located centrally in Gaslamp district. Easy walk from hotel to restaurants, shopping and area attractions.
Upon checking in, the night staff was amazing. (Day not so much) The amenities are great, golf course was great. Breakfast at the restaurant, was spectacular on the waterfront.
Beautiful hotel with great theme. Pool was good, but not enough seating for people not staying at the bungalows. Rooms were comfortable for the price we paid. The carpet in the hallways and some of the furniture need cleaning or replaced because of stains.
I love this hotel, right now they are doing a lot of construction to make it better. It was loud construction noise at 7:00 am. The property is charming with roses and plants in every corner. When construction is done it will by lovely
Outstanding location in the Gas Lamp District. We were able to make an easy walk to Petco Park to watch a Padres/Giants game. We then made an easy walk to Seaport Village where we did some window shopping and ate at a wonderful restaurant.
Clean and nice services . Price is reasonable. Nice area and people are nice
Very nice, clean, friendly property!!! Thanks for the nice stay!!
Loved the room with a view of the water. great restaurant on premises. Service was excellent. can't wait to stay there next time in San Diego.
I liked the setting and the rooms. Beautiful scenery outside. Staff was friendly for the most part. Young lady working in cafe wasn’t very polite. I didn’t like the people who were staying in the rooms next to us. They made a terrible mess and allowed their kids to run and yell all over the place. ...
The property was very nice. Great water views on all sides. Great view of Fourth of July fireworks over the bay
It would have been nice to have a convenience or gift shop that sold snacks. Other than that it is an excellent place to stay while in San Diego.
The area is very accessible to everything . Walking distance to major shopping and restaurants
Location to services, restaurants within walking distances. Public transportation, assistance from stastaff
The Sheraton was a very nice hotel with good amenities. The front desk personnel were a bit unfriendly, but as a whole they were professional and helpful. As this is a Marriott property, it made a big difference how you were treated at the front desk if you were an elite member. As I am an elite ...
Could not see the golf course for the trees even after we upgraded at an additional charge for a better room
Nice hotel, clean and convenient. Room is large and has all that is needed
Everything about this property is amazing! The friendliest employees. Adult pool and hotel or family side. CLEAN! Large casino. Shopping and food outlet plus bowling alley. Great food. Wish I had known about this place years ago. FANTASTIC!
Breakfast buffet was pretty good, especially since it was free for kids 5 and under. Beach was a bit disappointing (no waves).
Love this place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles! On beautiful grounds, this little oasis is one my wife and I will return to! The staff is great, from the front desk to their restaurant, Cork and Fire! Plus visiting the surrounding wineries were a huge bonus! We will definitely ...
The "del Coronado " always delights as it is more than the average destination. It's living history, especially when one remembers that the ghost of a long-ago guest is said to haunt the hotel . It can be crowded so bring your patience and curiosity about the history of the hotel and you will have ...
Staff was friendly and very professional. Property was clean, decorated nicely, loved the bar as soon as you walked in. Will definitely visit again
We were so pleased with this property and loved the location. We were able to walk to all we wanted to see and were treated so kindly by staff. Heck, even the breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations.
