Check out the Imperial Theater on Broad Street, a wonderful historic theater which has been providing entertainment for the past 92 years. To go back even further, explore a house dating back to the late 1700s that was once owned by militia member Ezekiel Harris. Art has historically been a popular pastime in Augusta, as seen at the town\u2019s Morris Museum of Art, which holds the largest collection of pieces in the country that specifically honor Southern talent.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Foodie\u2019s Delight in Augusta<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Start your culinary affair with Augusta during the most important meal of the day. The best breakfast in town can be found at the Bee\u2019s Knees, where, you can have a lazy brunch complete with classic biscuits and gravy or a Vegan tofu scramble. Kids love the hotcakes covered in maple syrup. After brunch, hit the links with the pros for the morning, then have a light lunch over at Honey from the Rock Caf\u00e9. Simply and homey, this rustic caf\u00e9 specializes in fried green tomatoes and sweet potato casserole to satiate any appetite. Finish with an elegant experience for dinner at either the French-inspired La Maison on Telfair or the New American establishment called Frog Hollow Tavern. La Maison has some incredible desserts, such as the chili chocolate over ice cream and the Cr\u00e8me Br\u00fbl\u00e9e. Locals are big on the stroll through various parks and gardens \u2013 no matter what day of the week it is. Join them at the Riverwalk between rounds for pretty photo opportunities along the Savannah. Visit the Meadow Gardens to learn about one of the town\u2019s most famous inhabitants, George Walton, who signed the Declaration of Independence. The wonders of Atlanta are roughly a two-hour drive away, and the capital city of Columbia, South Carolina, is an hour in the opposite direction. The Masters is a tradition unlike any other, and Augusta is similarly unique.
