This past year has been tough on everybody, but moms had it particularly hard, jugging far more than their usual load including homeschooling, test-prepping, round-the-clock cooking, 24\/7 babysitting, nonstop cleaning, and Zoom troubleshooting. They were the ones who made dinners miraculously pop up on the table\u2014and dirty laundry miraculously disappear!\u2014while holding families together in between school closures and business meetings. Now that travel is becoming possible again, where might working moms go if given the chance? We planned six dream Mother’s Day itineraries based on the type of trips some of our favorite Travelocity working moms told us they wanted!<\/p>\n

Pampered like a goddess<\/strong><\/h2>\n

“Mother\u2019s Day to me is all about getting pampered so my ideal trip would actually be to leave my six-month-old and three-year-old with my husband and instead take my mom and sisters (who are all mother\u2019s as well) for a spa day followed by some wine tasting.\u2014Doraliz G., Travelocity Designer<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Broadway shows are still dark for now, but the Museum of Modern Art is open and so is the High Line, both of which are within walking distance. You are also right in the crossroads of multiple subways lines, so you can easily hop on a downtown train to the 9\/11 Memorial or the Statue of Liberty ferry, or instead head uptown to the Museum of Natural History or the Metropolitan Museum of Art, affectionately called the Met. After a day of exploration, take the fam for a cup of hot chocolate at Marriott\u2019s revolving lounge and enjoy 360-degree skyline views.<\/p>\n
