Jen: Most people run in Rock Creek Park. It spans miles of city and it’s a great place to disconnect.<\/p>\n

Jen: Try Tryst on 18th Street in Adams Morgan. The place is jam-packed all day with students and commuters. At night they have live jazz music.<\/p>\n
Where could someone run into a politician?<\/b><\/p>\n
Jen: Old Ebbitt Grill–it’s one of the oldest restaurants in town. Reservations are often requested.<\/p>\n
What about cheap entertainment?<\/b><\/p>\n
Jen: The Kennedy Center has free performances everyday at 6:00pm!<\/p>\n
Last but not least, where do the people of D.C. go for a beer?<\/b><\/p>\n
Jen: For a southern soul food atmosphere I would recommend Marvins on U Street. The place is inspired by Marvin Gaye, has a great rooftop, and even better chicken and waffles. If you’re looking for something a bit more Mad Men,<\/i> complete with extraordinary cocktails, turn to Gibson on U Street. It’s a true speakeasy bar; you won’t even find a sign in front of the place.<\/p>\n
