If an out in the woods, rustic, clothing-optional hot springs experience sounds like your kind of vibe, then you will definitely want to check out Valley View Hot Springs<\/a>. The isolated resort is located at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo range, where several hot springs pools are situated around the woods.<\/p>\n

Burgdorf Hot Springs: McCall, Idaho<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Burgdorf Hot Springs<\/a> will forever hold a special place in my heart as it was the first hot spring experience I ever had. I was on a trip to Southwest Idaho<\/a> to experience winter activities and this was at the top of my list. We took a 70-mile roundtrip snowmobile ride to the hot springs starting at the Brundage Mountain Resort. The ride was long and exhausting, but all worth it once we got in to soak. The 35-mile trek back didn’t seem like much after relaxing in the hot springs for an hour. And you just can’t beat the views.<\/p>\n

Jemez Hot Springs: New Mexico<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Formerly named “Giggling Springs,” Jemez Hot Springs<\/a> located along the Jemez River reopened in 2016 newly renovated, featuring four outdoor pools with 17 healing minerals in the water. This particular hot springs accommodates up to 50 guests who can enjoy poolside service while they soak.<\/p>\n

North Carolina Hot Springs<\/a>, located in the town of Hot Springs less than hour from Asheville, is ideal for those looking to experience the benefits of soaking in the mineral-rich water, while also enjoying more upscale spa-quality accommodations. They offer a number of different tubs to soak in, as well as health-promoting massages and more.<\/p>\n

The Alvord Hot Springs<\/a> stands out for a variety of reasons. For one, it was used for many years almost exclusively by ranch hands and passing cowboys passing. Now, it’s one of the more popular hot springs in the US due to its beautiful setting. Picture a hot spring in a wide-open field where you can camp and soak whenever you want. Just imagine being able to stargaze at night from in the water, catching the morning sunrise or evening sunset, all while you’re soaking in mother nature’s hot tub. Not a bad thought, right?<\/p>\n

Mystic Hot Springs<\/a> is the brainchild of producer, director and artist, Mike Ginsburg. In 1995, he discovered the springs after traveling home back to Denver from the last Vegas Dead show. Enchanted, he bought the property and has been working there ever since. Using his artistic talents, Ginsburg has added new soaking areas, restored cabins and used the location to promote concerts, create jewelry and much more.<\/p>\n
