I\u2019ve been waiting for March to go \u201cout like a lamb\u201d since January. It\u2019s not that I don\u2019t love winter \u2014 I\u2019ll miss the early morning hailstorms and the hot buttered rum \u2014 but after three months of scarves, gloves, and boot socks, I\u2019m ready for a season that\u2019s a little gentler, warmer, and greener.<\/p>\n

So for those of you who, like me, have been waiting on the orange blossom perfume that means spring is in bloom, here are five floral events you won\u2019t want to miss:<\/p>\n

Epcot\u00ae Flower & Garden Festival <\/b><\/h3>\n

Orlando\u2019s Walt Disney World<\/i>\u00ae Resort<\/a> brings spring into focus at the annual Epcot\u00ae International Flower & Garden Festival<\/a>. From March to May, you can get gardening tips, take a tour of a butterfly house, visit Disney character topiaries, and view a variety of flowers at the event\u2019s special gardens.<\/p>\n

If you can’t make it for the official parade \u2014 complete with marshmallow-like sakura balloons \u2014 stop in at your leisure for a paddle boat ride on the Tidal Basin or walk beneath flowering trees to the Jefferson Memorial.<\/p>\n
