One of the tricky things about planning travel is that when you have time, you might not have money, and vice versa\u2014especially when you’re just starting out in your career. But not to worry: The six destinations listed here are not too expensive, and they offer nightlife and social scenes that are ideal for a younger set. So be sure to check them off your bucket list before you turn 30!<\/p>\n

Ireland<\/h2>\n

Dublin<\/a>, with its centuries-old cathedrals and castles, and gorgeous homes along the River Liffey, would be reason enough to visit the Emerald Isle. However, a lesser known feature of Ireland\u2014and one perfect for road trip fans!\u2014is the Wild Atlantic Way<\/a>, a route stretching Ireland\u2019s entire west coast that features stunning cliffs, crashing waves and plenty of green! So why visit before 30? Two words: pub culture. Ireland’s old-fashioned drinking establishments are the place to go for a good pour, traditional music and plenty of craic. That won’t be quite as enjoyable when you’re older and may even have kids in tow.<\/p>\n

Grenada<\/a> offers convenient access to outdoor activities such as hiking and scuba diving\u2014especially at the amazing underwater sculpture park\u2014as well as relaxing at your resort, or exploring the adorable shops and restaurants of Saint George\u2019s, the island\u2019s capital. It’s also pretty romantic, ideal for young starry-eyed couples!<\/p>\n

Overall, Spain is a great destination for the younger set, both due its nightlife, as well as its late hours: Spaniards typically don’t eat supper until 9pm and the nightlife gets going even later than that.<\/p>\n

Java<\/a> is the perfect place to explore Indonesian culture, as the island features an array of Buddhist temples, and then there’s Jakarta<\/a>, Indonesia\u2019s capital and largest city! While it’s a beautiful place to vacation at any age, affordable accommodations, and nightlife that includes full moon parties and a vibrant backpacker culture make it a great place to visit while you’re young.<\/p>\n

All of these islands feature endless opportunities to relax, although Phuket<\/a> is particularly known for its nightlife, while Ko Tao<\/a> is heralded as the de facto scuba diving capital of Southeast Asia. Don\u2019t forget the mainland, though, which is home to the capital Bangkok and also the breathtaking ancient temple cities of Ayutthaya and Sukhothai! Like Indonesia, Thailand is filled with affordable accommodations, vibrant backpacker culture and fantastic party scene, so it’s ideal for the under-30 set.<\/p>\n

Despite being our planet\u2019s second biggest country by population, many young people don\u2019t consider India<\/a> when crafting their international vacation bucket list. But if you are into stunning architecture and cultural immersion, India<\/a> is definitely the place for you, as the Taj Mahal, Gateway of India, Amber Fort and Swaminarayan Akshardham are all world-famous monuments to India\u2019s rich cultural history! You’re going to need some time to explore this vast nation, since it covers about 1.3 million square miles, and offers something very different in every region. That’s why it’s best to go while you”re still fairly young and don’t have to have too many responsibilities back home yet.<\/p>\n
