Let the summer never end. For 5 years I traveled the world looking for an eternal summer. Not only are big coats and heavy boots totally impractical for packing purposes, but I have to admit my skin looks better with that summer glow, my mood brighter with a shot of Vitamin C, my days more active, my nights longer\u2026 I think you get the point.<\/p>\n

So, if you are dreaming of escaping the cold winter for warmer climates, look no further than Australia!<\/p>\n

Brightly colored bathing boxes line the beach. It\u2019s a photographer’s dream and a great place to put a towel down and enjoy a warm summer day. You\u2019ll usually find an ice cream truck parked nearby for a nice cold break. And unlike winter, you\u2019ll find all the boxes opening up in summer. You’ll be entertained by what people have created in these very small, very expensive \u201chouses\u201d… Small living rooms, storage boxes, kitchens or just kayak shelves.<\/p>\n

This award-winning beach is the largest of 74 islands in the Whitsundays. It stretches over seven kilometers and you\u2019ll not find whiter sand anywhere else in the world. Of course, the water is a matching aqua that can\u2019t be matched. If you\u2019ve seen the photos, you\u2019ll understand there\u2019s no better place to be in summer. Make sure you have enough time to set sail <\/a>amongst its crystal waters, the perfect summer spot in Australia.<\/p>\n

Looking for entertainment during those long summer days? Then, this is the place to be! This small inlet is ringed by attractions and boardwalks facing the water. You can find the Australian National Maritime Museum, the famous Sydney Aquarium<\/a>, Madame Tussauds and the largest rectangular IMAX screen in the world. If you are okay with the heat, skip the indoor attractions and take a walk along the Pyrmont Bridge for fantastic water views, ice-cream, playgrounds, parks, fountains and often free attractions on weekends. City Beach is one of my favorite summer spots in Australia. Perth boasts white sand beaches with cold, cold water. The perfect place to be on a hot summer day. This particular beach has several restaurants lining it, so you can easily retreat for a cold one. Or you can set up a picnic on the grassed area, complete with shady trees and free BBQ to \u201cchuck another shrimp on the barbie.\u201d<\/p>\n
