I love Las Vegas. No, not for the gambling. I’m not a gambler. I love the lights, the champagne, the caviar, the shows, the over-the-top experiences, the romance. There are few places where I can walk hand-in-hand with my sweetheart and feel such excitement. Here are my top picks for 8 ways to woo your lover in Romantic Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

1\u2014Truffle Parm Chips at Delmonico Steak<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There is something amazingly sexy about truffles. Not the chocolate kind (we’ll get to those next). These are the savory variety. I fell in love with the Truffle Parm Chips at Delmonico Steakhouse<\/a> inside the Venetian Las Vegas. You’re sure to find something for both of you at Delmonico, Chef Emeril Lagasse’s take on a great American steakhouse. In addition to the chips\u2014which I nibbled on throughout my entire meal and really enjoyed with my champagne\u2014I’d start with the apple cured Kurobuta bone-in bacon and Emeril’s New Orleans barbecue shrimp. Definitely opt for one of the steaks that are dry-aged on the premises. Personally, I’m a ribeye girl, but how romantic is a chateaubriand for two that is carved tableside?<\/p>\n

2\u2014Nibble Chocolate in the High Roller<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At an amazing 550 feet above the Las Vegas Strip, the High Roller at The LINQ is the world’s tallest observation wheel<\/a> and the perfect spot to woo your lover with a chocolate experience. You can pair handcrafted Ethel M Chocolates with wine and some of the best views of Vegas that you’ll get anywhere. Whether you’re looking for the perfect spot to pop the question or simply want to gaze into each other’s eyes with those bright lights of Vegas shimmering below, this one is sure to wow. The chocolate experience lasts 30 minutes and is available Thursdays from 5 to 8:30 pm.<\/p>\n

3\u2014Take a Canal Ride at The Venetian<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There’s nothing quite so romantic in Vegas as a private gondola ride through the Grand Canal at The Venetian<\/a>. Both indoor and outdoor rides are available, depending on the weather, but I think the indoor rides are more romantic because it feels as if you’ve been transported to Venice. As you sweep peacefully along, past the shops and caf\u00e9s, you can whisper sweet nothings in your lover’s ear and plan the rest of your day or night in Vegas.<\/p>\n

My bonus tip: be sure to stop in before or after the ride for nibbles and drinks at Mercato Della Pescheria<\/a>, one of the newest restaurants at The Venetian, serving up great Italian seafood, almost as if you were sitting in a local coastal market in Italy. I would suggest sharing a cured meat and cheese board (you can’t go wrong with a Prosciutto San Daniele or Bresaola for the meat and the Pecorino Toscano is a delicious cheese). The arugula salad topped with gorgeous grilled red shrimp is so sweet and simple that it’s almost a meal itself. The handmade pasta is superb. I had the gnocchi in salsa rosa and it was divine. For fish, try the whole red snapper, cooked in the traditional Italian style.<\/p>\n

4\u2014Sip Krug Champagne and Eat Caviar at Restaurant Guy Savoy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of my top moments of all time in Las Vegas was dining at Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace Las Vegas<\/a>. I will admit I was a bit intimidated at the thought of dining at this French restaurant, but I didn’t need to be\u2014and neither should you. It is the ideal way to woo your lover in Las Vegas. While dinner in the dining room is amazing, I suggest trying the new Caviar Room. Located in the lounge, there is an exclusive menu of caviar dishes that give you a chance to experience something just a bit out of the ordinary. You can either order individual items and drinks or choose the tasting menu that includes oysters, caviar and a glass of Krug Grand Cuv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

My favorite dish was the one pictured here, the octopus-like a “Pot au Feu”. This was simply one of the best tasting and most creative dishes\u2014tender octopus, Royal Osetra caviar, and cold steam that creates a beautiful display making it a fun and playful dish, which is a little counter to the image that most people have of traditional French cuisine.<\/p>\n

5\u2014See BAZ – Star Crossed Love at The Palazzo<\/strong><\/h3>\n

What’s more romantic than sitting with your love and watching great moments from the greatest love stories ever told unfold? Fashioned as a modern and intimate cabaret, BAZ – Star Crossed Love<\/a> is in The Palazzo Theatre. This musical features moments from Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge and The Great Gatsby. I would recommend the two of you booking one of the Runway VIP seats near the Center Stage. This puts you up close and personal, where you can be part of the experience. Order a lovely glass of champagne and celebrate love.<\/p>\n

6\u2014Get a Couples’ Massage at Qua Baths at Caesars Palace<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You won’t remember that The Strip is outside once you enter the oasis of Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace<\/a> Las Vegas. How romantic is it to book a couples massage in this luxurious sanctuary? It is definitely one of the top 8 ways to woo your lover in Las Vegas. Qua is built around the theme of the ancient Roman baths and it provides a soothing escape. For the two of you, there’s no better way to connect than to book the Twin Souls Couples Massage. You’ll be in your own private suite where the treatments include a body scrub, massage with oils that you select for each other, and breath work. Of course, for those want it, the “Goddess of Willendorf” will bless you with fertility and abundance.<\/p>\n

7\u2014Experience La R\u00eave at Wynn Las Vegas<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Transport yourselves to another world where the Dreamer has us asking what is real and what is imagination at La R\u00eave – The Dream at Wynn Las Vegas<\/a>. We booked the “Indulgence Package” for La R\u00eave, which included champagne, chocolates, a souvenir program and seats with monitors that showed us backstage and up-close views throughout the performance. I found La R\u00eave fascinating and clinked glasses with my love and held his hand as we watched the drama unfold on the massive pool that serves as the stage for the domed theater. Honestly, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. With all of the colors and acrobatics and music and lights\u2014we were both mesmerized throughout the show.<\/p>\n

8\u2014Enjoy Brunch at Giada’s<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I know, there are a lot of food offerings in this list, but there’s just something so romantic about sitting across from your sweetheart, sipping champagne and eating indulgent bites. It makes you feel oh so special.<\/p>\n

Vegas is all about the bright lights and late nights, but eventually you have to emerge the next day, so it’s lovely that there are some amazing brunch places. One of my favorites is Giada<\/a>, the first and only restaurant of celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis. Giada is located inside The Cromwell and serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. I recommend the tasting menu that includes a pastry basket, antipasti platter, choice of entree (try the salmon cake Benedict), and dessert. The Limoncello Souffle with Buttermilk Gelato is my personal favorite. I thought I was full, but this was so light, fluffy and delicious, I couldn’t resist! That hot, perfectly cooked center, with the ice cream added was about as close to perfection as you get.<\/p>\n

The restaurant is charming, which I find refreshing for celebrity chef establishments and for Las Vegas. It’s not about glitz, or glitter or being , although with large windows that open up to The Strip, you do end up with some pretty <\/em> views. The menu is undeniably Giada\u2014family-style, Italian but with California influences. Of course, in pure Vegas style, there are limitless La Marca Mimosas available as well.<\/p>\n

These are 8 ways to woo your lover in Romantic Las Vegas, sure to create plenty of opportunities for the two of you to escape everyday life. There’s a reason why almost 43 million people visited the “Entertainment Capital of the World” in 2016.
