Pure tranquility

The property was perfect for me. It is centrally located among all of the activities I had planned. It is well equipped and had a few items I had forgotten to bring. The location is beautiful and peaceful. It is a nature lover's dream. The host was in contact multiple times to make sure everything was going well.

Good little weekend cabin

Our stay was just fine, the cabin was mostly what we expected. It's not fancy but it's clean and comfy. We stayed when it was down in the high 20's at night and the two heaters provided kept it plenty warm. You have to drive or walk to the water, you can't see it from the cabin but it's not far at all. The picnic shelter you see in the pictures is actually behind the cabin next door so I don't know if you can use it or not. Chairs on the porch are nice for morning coffee! Super close to Avant mine and some rock shops. Be prepared to drive for food, the local restaurants were not great but there's an apartment size stove and fridge with freezer in the cabin so you can bring a few groceries. A good grocery store is just a few miles away. Overall, we were satisfied and would consider staying there again, if it's just the two of us.

Cute cabin for a couple

This is one cabin a line of 4 that is fairly close together on a nice property that's close crystal digging and the lake. We rented all of the structures together for a family reunion and this would make a nice retreat for elderly family members or young couple with a baby that needs quiet away from the big house.

Great little cabin located in quiet location.

Cabin was small as expected. There were a few minor things that I felt should be addressed and i corresponded direct.y with the host about the recommendations I had and he was very perceptive of them. Very nice for a couple to stay. Parking was a little small but it was fine. Would definitely stay again if we are back in the area. The host was very accommodating with any questions I had…which the only question I had was the password for the Wi-Fi.

Good Stay

This little cabin was ok. It was cold the weekend we stayed and had 2 space heaters to warm the cabin. The heaters warmed it up just fine. We did not have a porch light and the street light was not working so it was difficult to see getting into the cabin. The kitchen window had no curtains and the blinds on the big window did not fully cover it. Also the blind in the bathroom window had a broken blind that broken off. Also the cabin Is not on the lake as the pictures show. The lake is about a mile or so on down the road. Overall it was ok, but the issued mentioned above should be fixed.

Comfortable getaway, nice location, reasonable price.

Cabin was easy to find, location is between Hot Springs and Mt Ida, which is great. The cabin was clean, had most everything we needed for the weekend. The only things I would suggest of management is is your guests are staying more then the weekend that more towels be provided, and for connivence it would be nice to have some sort of tray on the claw foot tub to hold soap, shampoo etc. Also, a broom and dustpan would be nice, because no matter how much you try… your still going to track in sand! Oh! The information sheet in the cabin needs to be updated. The name and phone number is from the previous management. I would rent this property again😊

Cozy Cabin

It was exactly what I wanted. A cozy, little cabin in the middle of nowhere with a beautiful scenery without spending a ton. There are eating places in Mt Ida down the road and Hot Springs is only about a 30 min drive if you want something fancier or to shop. We hiked the trail our Host recommended and it was perfect. It was easy and the trees were amazing colors! I got my moneys worth. If you’re looking to “glamp” this is the perfect stay for you!

This is a nice little weekend get away. You are provided with all you need for a quiet and relaxing stay. You can sit on the porch and watch nature or go to Hot Springs for shopping.
