The Beach is your Backyard!

Had an amazing time at this beach condo. The unit was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had the all the amenities we needed to be able to cook for our family when not going out to eat.The property management company was super responsive to any questions and easy to get a hold of as well.The pool/common area has recently been renovated and was a hit with the kiddos.The best part of it all is the ability to walk out the back door to be able to walk right down to the beach!

Great location and beach

The location and view/proximity to the beach were awesome. Fantastic sandy beach, very nice pool, and laundry were all just steps away. There was no shampoo or shower soap provided and the starter kit dishwasher soap was a little stingy. Also think there should be some entry rugs (front and back) to help with sand in the unit. Beach chairs would have been nice too. But overall, the location and view were spectacular and more than made up for some small negatives.

Beautiful property great for families

A beautiful condo that was perfect for our family vacation! We were searching for a property with two first floor condos and this one did not disappoint! Just steps from the pool and beach it was very convenient for all of the play time we needed! We look forward to coming back when the seawall construction is complete and the stair/ramp access is easier for families with strollers. It should be done any day (by end of July 2024). We so appreciated the well supplied kitchen and the beach chairs and beach toys that we in the unit for our use! All we had to do was relax! Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Construction outside my condo every day

I was very disappointed with the construction at the condo during my stay. I specifically spent extra money to be on the ground floor ocean front. When I arrived, I immediately noticed “crime scene” tape on the patio. You could not step out on the patio for fear of falling 15 feet off a cliff due to erosion. The next morning I was woken up to heavy machinery and very loud noise due to construction. So loud we could not hold a conversation inside the condo or watch television. Many times during the day the entire condo was shaking from this heavy equipment. This went on ALL day EVERY day. The patio I was so looking forward to was completely unusable. I understand hurricanes happen. And I understand construction is necessary. What I do not understand is why I was never told about this during the last seven months since the hurricane. This is unacceptable. I never would’ve rented this condo under these circumstances. I have taken pictures and video. I am requesting compensation for these terrible circumstances.

Beautiful

Fantastic spot to get away! The beach is feet away with easy access! The property itself has everything you need with gorgeous updated bathrooms and comfy living space. It was quiet and clean. The checkin process was easy and I felt confident about being able to resolve any unexpected issues. The limit to 2 perking spots was a little frustrating but understandable- I will definitely visit again!

Great location

The condo building is older but the room it self has been updated and was very nice - exactly as pictured. To open the sliding door and hear the ocean just a few feet away was priceless. Great place to stay for our family of four.

Nice stay

I had a girls weekend here and the stay was beautiful because I was with some of my favorite people and steps from the beach. The condo was very clean and great location. Our toilet did have a leak and the parking situation sucks if you have more then two cars but over all our stay was wonderful.

Girls trip

The condo was spot on as described on VRBO. The only down side was that construction was going on and it got noisy in condo. Plus the shortest route to the beach was closed off. Very nice overall

Significant issues

We were extremely disappointed from arrival to departure. Here are reasons why: 1. Poor out door lighting arriving at night 6 pm could not see keypad. 2. Master bedroom extremely drafty-windows not sealed and cold breeze through window could blow out a candle. 3. Master bed rock hard and difficult to get in and out of for short people. 4. Glass sliding doors had loud whistle noise on windy nights because seal on doors was worn down. Wind was howling as temps dipped to below 45 at night-very loud. 5. Pool at property was drained and out of order-did not know in advance. Overall view was nice and living area comfortable but did not sleep most nights as result of strong winds and draft. Would never stay at this property again.

Our new favorite two-bedroom

After a dozen or more visits to New Smyrna --- our daughter lives nearby --- this is our new favorite spot to stay. It's comfortable, well located, etc. We had a couple of very minor quibbles that we passed along to the owners, but, otherwise, everything was perfect.

Beautiful place!

This condo was absolutely beautiful. Just as shown in the pictures. It was immaculate. All of the appliances in the kitchen are new. Kitchen supplies were adequate. Beautiful silverware. You will need to supply your own paper towels and garbage bags, but there are enough there to get you started and that is not a big deal. My reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was a bit of a cold spell when we were there, with temperatures dropping in the 30's in the night and 40-50 during the day. We went Thanksgiving week in November for 10 nights. So the AC kept kicking on. It appears to be remotely set to kick on at certain times. It seemed you needed to go through the management association to get a message to the owner who lives in Canada, and they were so accommodating with this, but just were not able to resolve it. We were told to just raise the thermometer before bed, which we did, but we could see that at 4:15am it was set to drop down on its own and a couple of times during the day. So long story short we had to stay on top of it and we were cold. There were extra blankets which we used. Other than this issue I really enjoyed our stay and the accommodations, however, I probably won't go back to this unit.

Wonderful Stay!!!

This was our first time visiting New Smyrna Beach. We stayed at this property 8-25-18 through 9-3-18. The pictures displayed of this condo depict exactly what it was....beautiful!! It was clean, VERY UPDATED, very comfortable, and so close to the beach! The condo grounds and the pool were spotless. The best part was our encounter with Shelly who helped us with our reservations and comfortable accommodations. Shelly was always available if we had any questions or any problems (which there were none). Shelly gave us great recommendations on great restaurants in the area and places to visit. We tremendously enjoyed our stay here.
