Q: Why spend $99 when I can book directly with airlines, hotels or on Travelocity for free?
A: Your enrollment pays for itself if you book two trips and use the two $50 off hotel coupons. The more you travel, the more you’ll save. You’ll get 15% off hotels and, if you find a lower price for your flight on Travelocity after you book, we'll refund you the difference. With exclusive access to a priority customer service hotline, you’ll also save time.
Q: Can I stack the Travelocity Compass discounts on top of other savings?
A: You can only use one coupon per transaction, but you can stack an individual Travelocity Compass coupon on top of Travelocity Member Discounts to get the best available price.
Q: Do the coupons expire or are there blackout dates?
A: Coupons don’t expire until 1 year after you join. There are no blackout dates.
Q: Are there coupon restrictions?
A: Both the $50 off and 15% off coupons only apply to standalone hotel bookings (not a hotel booking in combination with any other products such as flight + hotel or flight + hotel + car) that are prepaid at the time of booking. Q: Will I be automatically reenrolled or billed after a year?
A: You can enjoy your Travelocity Compass benefits for 1 year from the date you join. You won't be automatically reenrolled or billed for another year.
Q: How will I know if the price of my flight drops?
A: Simply select the "Check latest price" link within your itinerary to see if your airfare dropped.
Q: How will I get my airfare refund?
A: Use the Check Latest Price tool to search for a lower airfare on Travelocity. We'll let you know immediately if a price drop is found. Up until 6 hours before you fly, you can reuse the Check Latest Price tool to search for additional price drops. After you travel, we'll refund you for the largest price drop found.
Q: How will I get reimbursed for Price Match Promise?
A: Purchase Price Match Promise before you check out for any eligible flight. Price Match Promise is available within 120 days of travel and up until 24 hours of departure. You'll receive a refund for the Price Match Promise fee within 3 to 7 business days of purchase.
Q: Are there refund restrictions?
A: You're covered from the day you book until 6 hours before you leave for any difference in airfare, taxes and fees for the same flight on Travelocity. Price Match Promise doesn't cover add-ons, such as paid upgrades, baggage fees and travel protection. Price Match Promise also can't be added to mobile app bookings. Travelocity Compass™ Membership Program Terms
How to Register
The Program is currently open only to a limited number of Travelocity members in good standing in the United States. To register, simply click on the link provided in the Travelocity Compass Membership email you received, confirm that you are signed into your Travelocity account, and complete the registration form. You will be required to pay a membership fee of $99 for one (1) year of membership. The membership fee is not refundable, even if you cancel. Your membership will not automatically renew at the end of the year.
Travelocity members who sign up for the Program are referred to as “Travelocity Compass Members,” and each Travelocity Compass Member’s account will be associated with the email address used to sign-up for the Program.
Travelocity Compass Members currently enjoy the following benefits during their one (1) year of membership:
• Two (2) $50 Stand-alone Hotel Coupons: Travelocity Compass Members will receive two (2) coupons for $50 off any stand-alone hotel bookings (not a hotel booking in combination with any other product such as flight + hotel or flight + hotel + car) made online at www.travelocity.com that are pre-paid at the time of booking. Coupons cannot be used on the mobile app or in conjunction with any other coupons, offers, or the 15% discount mentioned below, but they can be combined with Member Discounts or discounted rates found on the Travelocity site. You will need to be logged in to your account on Travelocity.com to apply a coupon. If you have a coupon available, you will be presented with an option to apply it at checkout. You must use the coupons within one (1) year of when you joined the Program and for a booking where travel will be completed by March 31, 2020. • 15% off Stand-alone Hotels: A reusable 15% discount code that can be applied to stand-alone hotel bookings (not a hotel booking in combination with any other product such as flight + hotel or flight + hotel + car) made online at www.travelocity.com that are pre-paid at the time of booking. The discount cannot be used for bookings on the mobile app or in conjunction with any other coupons or offers such as the $50 hotel coupons mentioned above, but it can be stacked with Current Member Discounts or existing Travelocity discounted rates. You will need to be logged in to your account on Travelocity.com to apply the discount code. If the code can be used on a booking, you will be presented with an option to apply it at checkout. The 15% discount code is valid for bookings made within one (1) year from the date you joined the Program and for travel to be completed by March 31, 2020. • Price Match Promise: Travelocity Compass Members will be reimbursed for the fee of purchasing Price Match Promise with their stand-alone flight bookings. (Price Match Promise only applies to stand-alone flights, not stand-alone hotels or package bookings). Price Match Promise is available for stand-alone flights booked within 120 days of travel and up until 24 hours of departure and allows Travelocity.com customers to use a price checker tool as many times as they would like to check if their airfare has dropped in price on Travelocity.com after they book until six hours before they depart. If a drop in airfare is found with the price checker tool during that applicable period, the Travelocity Compass Member will receive a one-time, single refund for the greatest price difference found during the period. Price difference refunds under Price Match Promise will be made after the Travelocity Compass Member has completed travel on the stand-alone flight itinerary that is subject to the Price Match Promise. Travelocity Compass Members must select Price Match Promise upon check-out, and pay for it at the time of purchase. (Price Match Promise is not available in the mobile app.) Travelocity Compass Members will then be automatically reimbursed for the Price Match Promise fee within approximately three (3) to seven (7) business days of purchase. • Travelocity Compass Expert Service: Travelocity Compass Members will have 24/7 access to a dedicated phone number with agents who can provide expert assistance on a range of issues. Anyone traveling with the Travelocity Compass Member on an eligible itinerary booked by the Travelocity Compass Member will also have access to this hotline.
These benefits only apply if the Travelocity Compass Member is on the relevant itinerary. The benefits will not apply when the Travelocity Compass Member books travel for others, if the Travelocity Compass Member is not also on the itinerary.
Modifications and Termination
We reserve the right to modify any of the terms and conditions governing the Program at any time, with or without notice. Modifications are effective immediately upon posting of the updated Terms. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Program (in part or in its entirety) at any time, for any reason.
Your continued participation in the Program constitutes your acceptance of any changes we make to these Terms. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about any changes we may make to these Terms. The most current version of the Terms will be available here and will supersede all previous versions of the Terms.
Travelocity’s right to amend these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time as set forth above does not apply to this "Disputes; Arbitration" section. The version of this “Disputes; Arbitration” section in effect on the date you last accepted the Terms controls.
Travelocity is committed to customer satisfaction, so if you have a problem or dispute, we will try to resolve your concerns. You agree to give us an opportunity to resolve any disputes or claims relating in any way to the Travelocity site, any dealings with our customer experience agents, the Program, any services or products provided, or any representations made by us, by contacting the Travelocity Expert Compass Service. (“Claims”). If we are not able to resolve your Claims within 60 days, you may seek relief through arbitration or in small claims court, as set forth below.
Any and all Claims will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except you may assert Claims on an individual basis in small claims court if they qualify. This includes any Claims you assert against us, our subsidiaries, users or any companies offering products or services through us (which are beneficiaries of this arbitration agreement). This also includes any Claims that arose before you accepted these Terms, regardless of whether prior versions of the Terms required arbitration. There is no judge or jury in arbitration, and court review of an arbitration award is limited. However, an arbitrator can award on an individual basis the same damages and relief as a court (including statutory damages, attorneys’ fees and costs), and must follow and enforce these Terms as a court would.
Arbitrations will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules, including the AAA Arbitration Consumer Rules (together, the “AAA Rules”). Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA's rules, except as provided in this section. If your total Claims seek less than $10,000, we will reimburse you for filing fees you pay to the AAA and will pay arbitrator’s fees. You may choose to have an arbitration conducted by telephone, based on written submissions, or in person in the state where you live or at another mutually agreed upon location. By agreeing to arbitration under the AAA Rules, the parties agree, among other things, that the arbitrator, and not any federal, state, or local court or agency, shall have the exclusive power to rule on any objections with respect to the existence, scope, or validity of the arbitration agreement or to the arbitrability of any claim or counterclaim. To begin an arbitration proceeding, you must send a letter requesting arbitration and describing your Claims to “Travelocity: Arbitration Claim Manager,” at Expedia, Inc., 333 108th Ave N.E. Bellevue, WA 98004. If we request arbitration against you, we will give you notice at the email address or street address you have provided. The AAA's rules and filing instructions are available at www.adr.org or by calling 1-800-778-7879.
Any and all proceedings to resolve Claims will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action. If for any reason a Claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration we each waive any right to a jury trial. The Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to these Terms. An arbitration decision may be confirmed by any court with competent jurisdiction.
If we need to communicate with you about the Program, we’ll send a message to the email address associated with your account. If your email address changes after you register for the Program, you are responsible for promptly updating your account.
If we suspect that you have failed to comply with these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, use the Program to make group bookings, including, but not limited to, accepting payment for bookings using program benefits, or otherwise attempt to manipulate or unfairly benefit from the Program, as determined by us, in our sole discretion, we reserve the right to terminate your Program membership, booking and Travelocity.com account, prohibit you from participating in the Program, and take appropriate legal action.
If we terminate your Program membership, you will not receive any refund.
