This is a lovely small hotel on the promenade along the Sea of Galilee. We stayed in Suite 1, which has a nice private balcony overlooking the Sea and a hot tub in the first room. They even had a bottle of wine to sell us while we watched the sunset on the mountains on the other side of the Sea. The breakfast was very good, and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a walking only area, but a large parking area is very close by, and the hotel sold us a ticket to put in our car window. There does not appear to be anyone to help with your bags, so if you cannot pull them a ways yourself very easily this might be an issue.

I have enjoyed the stay, but others in the group not so much. It is their first trip abroad and had a different expectation. I love the location and the accommodations are great considering g we are here only for a few hours.

Tiberius on Lake Galilee

Pros: Boutique, older stone structure, updated with everything that will fit in smaller rooms. Great linens, nice baths, cheerful and wonderful service.
Cons: Print good directions so you can find the hotel, free parking some distance away. Rooms are small but adequate.
Location: Stroll down the boardwalk and choose your view and dinner restaurant. Romantic, historic, location from which to see the local Biblical sites.
Slightly difficult to find as it fronts the boardwalk for the Sea of Tiberius, AKA Lake Galilee, and not a street. But well worth finding for the views, boutique hotel atmosphere, charming rooms, wonderful bed linens, great staff and wonderful breakfasts.
