We enjoyed our stay here at Hotel Y. The rooms were clean and spacious. Everything in the room was all new and upgraded like the TV was huge which was a plus for the kids and the style of the room was unique yet better than the rooms we stayed in around Yakima. The price was my favorite, affordable and reasonable for the room rates. My family will definitely come back. However, I do have to name one thing I didn’t feel safe about was when I locked myself out from the room I came down to the front desk for a duplicate key. The front desk that I just met the first time only asked me what room number without asking for my ID for verification or any other questions to confirm that I was a guest at the hotel. I just couldn’t imagine if it was someone else who could access to our room because of a improper security check at the front desk and can lead to a life danger of mines and my kids. I hope that next time she can be very careful. Safety is very important to everyone. Other than that customer service was great, room was spacious and clean.

This hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovation. It was pretty much empty when I stayed there. My room had been renovated and was nice. I had to move from my original room because the heater wasn't working but the staff was very nice about it. Neither coffee maker worked (maybe I just didn't get it but it seemed pretty straight forward.). The power went out in the breakfast room (probably the construction tripped a circuit) when I went in for breakfast but I assume that was not a common thing. Very nice staff. The hotel is close to the freeway (didn't notice noise) but a bit of a way from downtown, so you would need a car or Uber to access restaurants.
