The hotel was good, but the pool was a little bit dirty. The location wasn’t so good too but we knew it so it was ok. Staff is very friendly and helpful !

Dangerous Stay Away
There is NO security or even a person who works there on premises after 11 pm... If anything happens no one to call... or to help... For English speakers its even worse,, Anyone can come in get hurt or worse... Internet barely works if at all....Pool,, filthy... The breakfast is stale cookies and cold old coffee.AC units are dangerous, hanging wires from them... Mold all over the Refrigerators-- on the outside....musty smells bad, hot water does not work or pressure... very NOISY... You can hear everything going on 24/7 people party inside an know one to call for help.. Very dangerous place... i recommend no one every stay there

not great- you can find better.
Not sure I can give this place a very good review... the hotel area in general was nice it had a nice pool. Our room was pretty gross there was hairs in the shower, fridge was dirty, coffee still left in the coffee pot, stained walls, the sheet on the bed that covers you at night didn't, the bathroom door wasn't a door it doubled at a shower door so didn't fully close with a gap at the top. There is a breakfast room that opens 9-10 am which i'm we had included in our room but were never told about. The reception lady was pretty rude we arrived at 2:30 pm and she told us check in was 3 pm to come back we said we would just wait then she said ok you can go to your room. Then came back saying we werent supposed to be here for another 3 days so i showed her my booking which showed our check in that day for 5 days kind of felt like she didn't believe me but then said it was fine she would call the reservation- don't know where that mistake was made most likely on there spread sheet. on check out which is 12 pm she came banging on our door at 12:05 pm taping her wrist to leave as she could see we were closing our bags. its about 2 km from the main part of playa not a bad walk but not the greatest at night there is supposed to be a locking gate into the hotel that gets locked when the reception finishes for the night but it is never locked. Cleaning ladies really friendly, good wifi, spacious room, super cheap for the area but I think you could find better if you wanted.

Lovely hotel away from the main tourist area!
The hotel doesn't look like much from outside but inside the rooms are really nice! At first the area didnt seem too great,but honestly everything was within walking distance with many restaurants nearby. In fact there is a girl just at the corner who does amazing tortas!! The price was incredible for the time we spent there. My friend paid 5 times as much for a hotel in the main tourist market and wasn't much of a difference between the 2 hotels(his was probably a lot noisier!) The girls at reception were extremely helpful informative and helped us without anything we needed. Beach, shopping centre is at most a 5-10minute walk. I'd recommend this place for everyone!

Terrible stay
I have no positive feedback about this place. - i had arrived early (1pm) and asked if I could check in early. They said they had no record of my reservation and would not let me check in early. I came back at 3 and they had not bothered to research my reservation during that time and said they had no record of it. The woman wasn't at all pleasant about it - not in a nice area - no hot water - threadbare towels - loud - no blanket only thin sheet - photos not accurate

Good safe place 20 minutes from the beach
I stayed at Caribe Corazon for a week in January of 2017 and I had an amazing visit. The room was clean and comfortable and the ceiling fan and air conditioner kept me cool. The room came with a fridge and a tv and the fridge worked fine but I didn't watch tv. The bathroom and shower were both clean and it usually took a few minutesto get hot water. The ceiling fan is controlled by a switch next to the bed and the air conditioner is controlled by the white remote control on the hanging stand next to the bed. To use the air conditioner l you press the power button on the white remote to turn it on and then press the fan button to set the fan level for the air conditioner. The pool is outdoors and it was relaxing. The location is surrounded by many good cafes and restaurants and the main grocery store is 2 blocks to the left when you go outside. There are several convenience stores within walking distance. There is a very nice beach about 20 minutes away at the end of Av Constituyentes. Just go outside, turn left, and start walking. Ultramar hasn't some ferries from this beach going to Cozumel but they charge way more than El Caribe. El Caribe charges 100 pesos return from the main dock by ADO and Ultramar is between 180 - 300 pesos. Ultramar boat she are a little nicer and the once she that I was on had live music. Caribe has wifi and if the password doesn't work, try typing it in caps. Caribe was a wonderful hotel and I look forward to staying there on my next

Try elsewhere first, but you could do worse
We were booked here after being shown pictures of the pricier and better-located Suites Corazon, and boy were we disappointed. The staff were very friendly, and let us change room (to a smaller one) when the TV didn't work, but our original room had a shower that flooded the corner of the room, a bathroom door that didn't close, and a pair of the (I hope) previous occupant's underwear hanging from the curtain over the door. On the plus side, the place has a small pool, microwave oven in each room, and is a relatively short walk from the main tourist area and beach.
