We stayed at the Hotel Crescent for a weekend getaway. I loved the architecture style of the hotel. The hotel lobby was very clean and stylish as were the floors and rooms. The staff and service were excellent. All of our expectations and request met in a very timely manner. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing. The appears to cater to mostly an adult clientele and that was what my wife and I were looking for. We have kids at home who we love and treasure but we needed a break from "family time". We liked the proximity that the hotel had to nearby restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping, parks and entertainment. We could have easily stayed for an entire month and still not been able to do everything there was to do in the area. There were a few shortcomings that I would like to mention. These shortcomings are not a "deal breaker" but a few things that slightly diminished our stay. First of all the pool, however nice, is much too small for the size of the hotel. If a guest would like a chaise lounger seat they have to arrive to the pool by 11am or else you have to sit on the side of the pool. The hotel lacks a hot tub. This is a nice amenity that I feel is pretty much universal to all hotels and should be included in a hotel this size and level of luxury. Also...there are not any icemakers on any of the floors. Anytime I needed ice I was required to call room service to bring ice directly to the room. I found this odd and a bit inconvenient.

Great location. Beautiful. Comfortable bed. Liked the bathroom. Shower modern (with great shower head & drainage). Thanks for the bottled water. It was 109 in Dallas!!
