Conversation from downstairs( not even particularly loud) was audible in my room. Repeated wierd noise was reported to reception - possibly a toilet flushing itself . However facilities were snug and warm, and lovely food was served in Yorkshire sized portions!

Loved the owner so proud and hard working - found us a table when full . Food was a little over priced room was ok - breakfast was a mixup - you think your getting a full breakfast then they give you a menu, its a sausage or bacon sandwich or pay £15 For a full breakfast. Its a shame they do that - leaving on a low.

staff very helpfull and professional. dining area sparkled, breakfast excellent. Hotel rooms cramped and airless due to closed windows for traffic noise. no walk in shower available in the rooms we were offered. only double beds. Looks like all renovations and improvementshave gone into the restaurant and bar. bed rooms outdated and in need of renovation
