Heat did not work. Floors are cold. Need large area rugs perhaps. Front desk staff welcoming and kind.

A tired hotel.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: old and dated, parking not convenient, lacking customer service
First of all, this property used to be called "Radisson" up until a week or two before our stay. We booked it under the Radisson name, but we weren't notified of the change in name. We had to take several drives around the block before we found out that the name had changed. (The name was still on the bldg high above, which we finally noticed several blocks away.) There is no place to park your car when checking in, but they don't like you parking your car at the entrance. My husband unloaded all the bags in the lobby while I checked in (no bell boy to help out) and I loaded them onto the luggage carrier while my husband had to drive a whole city block around to the back of the hotel to park and then walked back across through a sky walk to the hotel. The towels in the hotel were like the ones I use when I'm washing my car--old and raggedy and had threads hanging off of them. The Sleep Number bed was actually the draw to the Radisson property. Had always wanted to try one out. That, too, was a disappointment. Not especially comfortable at any setting and it's very noisy. The restaurant was okay. We had a lovely view of the Detroit skyline and river, but only through the very dirty windows. The property is just old and tired. I know Windsor has seen better days, but must the hotel reflect that too? Apparently it must be why Radisson doesn't want to put its name on it any more even though it still owns the property.

we had some noisy neighbors, we could hear them through the wall

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
The light from the hallway came into the room from under the door. big gap!
