This historic hotel is 96 years old so the rooms are a little smaller than other hotels, but it was clean, comfortable, but really the hotel itself is worth the stay. It is elegant and high class in its design, and it has some things that many don’t (such as billiard tables in the lounge. It’s history is displayed in photographs on the walls of the hallway to the lobby displaying many of the famous people who have been there. The breakfast was very good, and there was nothing plastic to be found. Everything was real just like you’d have at home down to the cloth napkins. The next time I go to Williamsport, there won’t even be a choice for me. I will stay at this hotel.

Historic hotel in the center of Williamsport

The location was great. It is within walking distance to a preforming art center, amc theater, and millionaires row. On the downside the matresss was like a soup bowl, the bathroom is small, and breakfast had many options but they all needed to be refilled.

    old school charm

The Genetti is a charming old school hotel, replete with small touches that evokes a sense of history and local pride. I could spend a lot of time just looking at the pictures posted. But the real gem is the charm of the staff who are friendly and sincere in helping. They also make reasonable accommodations for unusual situations that can crop up in big parties. The daily included breakfast is also hearty and tasty.
