Front desk female staff is tempermental with other elderly customers and unfriendly towards myself. Was charged nearly $90 at check-in with 0 explanantion or fee read off to me.

As for the additional amount you mention, we do authorize for incidentals per-night, which is customary at most hotels. This is credited back upon check-out if you do not make any additional charges. We post a sign making you aware right next to the credit card reader, where you would have swiped your card. I welcome any additional feedback so I may address your concerns. We hope to have an opportunity to change your impression.

The people at the front desk were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The hotel is in a quiet, yet convenient location. Very good quality for the price. The only downside, which is common, is the variety of food available at the breakfast is limited toward the end of the breakfast period.

Great place close to Air Force Academy

We went to the SOUTH Fairfield Inn instead of the NORTH and at both desks the managers were extremely kind and helpful. We had a great room where we could see the Academy from our window and an exit door close to the parking lot. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful and also had everything you could ask for. We will definitely go back again.

Worth the extra expense!

My wife and I were visiting family up in the Monument area and needed a room. The cheapest place on line was Ramada in Monument, so we booked there. The conditions at the Ramada were appalling and the management and upon arrival, we learned about needing a deposit of $100. They refused cash, car and our Discover Card for the deposit, which forced us to look elsewhere. Because of our negative experience, the positive contrast and cleanliness of the Fairfield was easy to notice and felt SO GOOD. It wasn't that much more, but the difference was night and day. The morning breakfast at the Fairfield held a great variety and was restaurant-quality, with fresh cooked options...not cheap packaged carbs! This was my first stay at Fairfield and we well be back!
