I have been using this hotel before when it was another chain, it's the perfect location for me due to family and friends! Some of the hotel is still need of repair and the rooms could be a little cleaner. We started off in a regular room and we had a major problem with the air it was blasting and the heat never went down so we had to be switched at 1am. All and all it was fine!

"Very nice hotel!"
The hotel was very clean. Short walk to the Metro and there are lots of places to eat nearby. The staff was very nice. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Coolest part is that it is on Embassy Row so you can walk by a lot of the embassies and see some neat things.

"Outside Stairs"
Outside stairs need maintenance. Felt a little rickety on our way up to the 3rd floor. This is definitely an older hotel which has had some sprucing up, but in need of attention. Staff was great. Room was pleasant. Location was great.

"We travelled during the Christmas holidays"
We had a very nice room for the Washington area; however, the mattresses rolled to the middle. We had to fight that through the night but everything else was great.

"Short stay with excellent hospitality "
I recently found my self in need of overnight accommodations in the greater Washington DC area. Because I hadn't planned on staying overnight in the area I hadn't made a reservation. I quickly remedied that at Travelocity.com.(at about 1030pm on the night I was to stay). When I arrived despite the somewhat heavy traffic, I was warmly and quickly greeted by super friendly hotel staff one of which quickly processed my check in. There was some sort of computer glitch with my room deposit but the attendant shortly sorted that out and I was on my way to my room after she was so kind to inform me that she was waving my parking fee due to the fact that it was my first stay at that facility she also allowed me to have free internet access for the trouble with my room deposit saving me 40 some odd dollars in total. I had ordered take out once I got to my room which I found to be tidy, warmly decorated and quite cozy. Lastly, checkout was as painless as check-in.
