Not up to Kimpton Brand

Room lacked a night table with a drawer. Toilet had no seat, Shower was a hand held head. I did not book for a handicapper type room. Desk had no drawer. Staff was inattentive and did not listen to directions. Room service was not up to snuff. I had a business associate in the hotel whose room number I had forgotten, although she had given me her room key. I called down to the desk, the staff had been there when we checked in at the desk together in separate rooms, and would not give me the last digit of her room although I told them it was on the 6th floor and I had the key. She was in a telelphone biz. Meeting so could not answer or give me the correct digit, thus causing me to have to be late for our meeting. Wifi was not readily available, although I am a Kimpton rewards member. There was no coffee maker in the room. And Only afer the fact did the staff inform me that I could have gotten Kimpton rewards if I had simply asked them to match the Expedia rate.
I stay at various hotels on business, Kimpton being one of them but after this experience, Topaz is off my list entirely.
Nothing but excuses for shoddy room service and just about everything else.
