2 different sections - we were in the older one

Pros: Clean, good location for our purposes ( museums in DC ) shuttle services seemed good but we didn't use them because metro was out, easy free parking.
Cons: General service, clear marking of where elevators are for different, non-connected areas.
Location: Close to Reston Downtown area ( 2 miles ) shuttle available, nice area, good restaurants, close to Silver line Metro station ( 2 miles ) with shuttle.
Upon arrival I checked in and was told to go past the meeting rooms and the elevator to our room would be there. We came in a different door and there was a set of elevators, to the wrong wing, and not marked as such, so we went up and tried to find the room, but that number wasn't on that floor. Then we went looking for another set of elevators, mistakenly walked past the banquet rooms, not the meeting rooms, then went and asked at the desk, and the elevators were at the other end of the hotel. This could have been explained better and wasn't a nice way to end a long day getting there. The thermostat didn't seem to work, if it was set at 62 it was ok, anything more than that was too hot. There was a light out in the area outside the bathroom, but that wasn't a big deal, we didn't use the coffee maker that was in this space. Then as we finished taking showers, but not quote done getting ready the day we were leaving the light in the bathroom went out.... so we dragged a floor lamp to the bathroom so there would be at least some light, we were so close to leaving that I didn't want to call and wait for maintenance to come in. We mentioned this when we checked out, no offer to give discount or apology. I think we were in the old wing of the hotel, which would explain the good rate we had. Restaurant has no prices on the breakfast menu but I understand they are very expensive.

Wonderful shuttle service

Shuttle took us about 10 minutes from hotel to metro station. Vehicles ran every half hour. Hotel and room were very clean. Wonderful helpful friendly staff.

Very nice hotel

Cons: More reasonably priced options for food at the hotel or close by.
Location: Close to public transportation to/from DC.
Stayed for a couple of nights while visiting family that lives nearby. It was great for that because we were only 5 minutes away from them. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, pool was good too! Note it's mainly a business hotel, so it may be expensive because prices are really set at corporate rates. We happened to get a great deal through Travelocity so it worked out perfectly for us. Don't know if we would have stayed here at the regular price-point.

On the night we checked in, the staff was wonderful.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
Except for two incidents that happened in the five nights we stayed at this hotel, things were very nice. One was a very rude desk clerk when asked a question we had read about in an airplane magazine. He acted as if it was a very stupid question. Every other person who was on staff or worked in the hotel was friendly and wonderful. That certainly made up for the young man's rudeness. The other incident was a fairly dirty room when we checked in on the first night. The coffee maker had the used coffee pod still in it, and the rug was not vacuumed (or at least appeared that way.) The rest of the stay the room was well cleaned.

Great overall value-close to lots of nightlife.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
I attended a party on the lower level of this hotel and found the ballroom facilities to be very clean and the staff helpful. The food was very good and when the party was over, I found the room and the rest of the hotel to be very quiet despite the close proximity to the ballrooms. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nice hotel, good location.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I had attended meetings at this hotel in the past but had never stayed there. The room was very comfortable, and all the furnishings had been updated. Since I am a Starwood Preferred member, we were put on the Club Level where they served afternoon snacks and continental breakfast in the a.m. There was also a computer available in the Club Lounge, so this was very convenient to have on our floor.

Great Service, Value and Stay

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
spent almost 2 weeks here, Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fairly priced, quiet and peaceful. Had an issue with the AC making a clicking noise on shut off and on, reported it and was fixed within the hour. Restaurant had a wide selection and fair prices, food was great quality. Nice bar too, spent a lot of time there. surroundings were very clean and seemed safe, well lit. Would recommend this Hotel to any one staying in this area.
