"Great stay!"
We stayed here as an anniversary stay and it was super nice. The staff does seem a little confused still, but we had an amazing room. It was high, looking east towards the city. It was great fun trying to ID landmarks. The room was great, and since we were staying on the weekend, it was cheap. Totally worth the stay!

"Amazing boutique hotel in Georgetown"
Very welcoming and professional staff. Sweet little touches like having classical music playing in my room when I walked in and having the sheets turned down at night. I did not want to leave.

"Great place to stay close to the White House! "
We stayed at Sofitel in downtown DC for the weekend and really enjoyed it. The room was very updated and comfortable with a large flat screen tv and Bose music. Room service was good (a bit expensive, but it is DC). The location is perfect for sightseeing and good restaurants. Very close to Metro.

"We Love the Carlyle"
We've been coming to the Carlyle for years and, if possible, it is even nicer now that they're part of the Kimpton Hotel group. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the Dupont Circle location in D.C. is the best. We love the Carlyle!

"Birthday Weekend"
This Hotel is in a nice area of DC, it a little bit away from major attraction sites but it's easy to get public transportation to get you there. It's in a quiet neighborhood so if relaxation is what your looking for, this hotel will be perfect. It is designed in a cotemporary style which can be cold but the hotel staff provides the warmth.

"In a top hotel food must also be the best "
Upon my arrival after a long trip, I went to the main hotel restaurant to eat. I found the menu to be very limited with one kind of seafood item on the menu. So I settled with stake, since I usually avoid red meat, I ordered a 10 oz stake (medium). After a long wait, my stake came well done. I complained to the water and another gentleman came and apologized for the error and took it back to the kitchen. After a while another piece of cocked meat came, almost exactly like the one I had returned. I cut the state and told the waiter that it was cocked well done again. The water who was extremely nice, apologized and offered to replace it. Since I had a couple of my relative who had come to visit me were waiting. I ate some of my food and told the waiter that it was the worst stake I saw in a five star hotel. It was very kind of the waiter to apologize and offer to take the cost of stake off my bill. Consequently, I did not go back to that restaurant during my 4 days stay. As a gold member, I expect the food at its restaurant to be the best. Noor Delawari

"Nice hotel with easy access."
Went with wife and 2 teens to see the sights and made an excellent choice with this hotel. I didn't give much thought to transport from Reagan National to the hotel, just assumed we'd take a taxi. Turns out the Metro Blue line has a station 1 block from the hotel. In fact, there's a way to go from metro station to the hotel lobby w/o going on the street at all. The hotel is close to numerous restaurants, tons of shopping, and an easy hike to the Mall and museums. Be aware that you are in a city and get all the noise that includes. Sirens and horn honking are popular activities. Only complaint is that the ice machine on our floor wasn't working. Polite and helpful staff with clean, comfortable rooms.
