This hotel had the nicest staff ever!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I had the most positive eperience staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Tysons Corner. The staff was extremely helpfull and polite. It was super clean and the resturant food in the hotel was great. So close to D.C., Arlington and of course the Tysons Mall! Best stay ever!!

Great weekend stay at a reasonable price

Pros: Close restaurants
Great place to stay and the shuttle is a 10 minute ride from the hotel and you just call to be picked up.

Nice Hotel.

What a nice hotel for the price. Upon checking in I learned they were having an employee Christmas party and had replacements from another hotel covering at the front desk. The guy checking us in didn't really know how to do anything and couldn't even make us 2 hotel room keys. I booked my hotel thru travel agency and he also tried to tell me my card had been declined but I told him it had already been taken out of my account. That was the only hitch if you can really call that one during the hotel stay. The room was excellent....the bed was amazing. The underground parking structure is nice, I've never had to walk a shorter distance after parking to get to my room ever....the elevator takes you directly from the parking garage to your floor. Also it had been raining and getting out without getting wet was nice. Can't go wrong with this hotel, it was wonderful.

Comfortable bed - but no AC

After waiting for my room to be ready for check in, I received a room on the 2nd floor. The lobby was very hot. When I got to my room, it was 79 degrees. I turned on the air, and it was very noisy. After it got down to 75, it stopped working. I called the front desk and was told they would send someone up. They never did. The next morning, I asked again about the air cond. I was told they were working on it. I asked for another room, but was told they were full. The desk clerk was pre-occupied, unfriendly. Finally, the last day, the air began to work again. The best thing was the bed. It was very comfortable. The morning driver on the shuttle was friendly and took us where we wanted to go. The pool and hot tub are very small and appeared to be dirty with a brown ring around the top. The food at breakfast was fair. The eggs were undercooked, and the pancakes and syrup were cold. For the money, I would expect more.

Our trip

We stayed in a double queen room for two nights. The room was very nice. The beds wonderful. As two women traveling alone I also need to comment on their great security. Parking was in an underground garage and at night only acessable with a room key card. room accessable w/room card. They had computers that you could actually use. We didn't dine in but did order room service which was good.

not a bad place to stay

Overall, a nice, clean hotel with a helpful, friendly staff. Two of the three shuttle bus drivers were very nice and prompt. However, the third who was on duty evenings during the week would take up to an hour to pick up guests at the metro stop and shopping mall, both of which were less than a 5 min drive away. A free breakfast would have been nice considering the hotel restaurant was expensive. We would stay at the hotel again, but possibly would look for one within walking distance of the metro.
