Great for the value and excellent location

Pros: For the price had excellent location and basic amenitites like free breakfast.
Location: Close to M Street, where you can go shopping, close to restaurants. Also a 10 minute walk from subway station Foggy Bottoms.
The hotel is in a great location. Close to M Street and 10 minutes walk from subway station. The only flaw was that my room was located in the first floor, close to the entrance. At times was a bit noisy and had to keep the curtain closed at all times.

Great location, nice breakfast, but poor service

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, great location
Cons: old and smelly furniture
My room was much bigger than what I needed. People in the reception were not friendly at all, but they allowed me to check out at 2pm. The room furniture is old and needs some refurbishment, however, it was still a very good deal given the location, room facilities, and of course the rates

Good value!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
Cons: parking $30 per night, a bit run-down
Continental breakfast included, close to lots of restaurants on M Street. Rooms are actually small apartments. Kitchen in ours was fully equipped but in a poor condition. Fridge was noisy and water tank in the bathroom would get stack after every flush. On the other hand, beds were rather comfortable and there was a TV in both the living room and bedroom. Good for families with kids.

Great rooms, nice staff, caters to Peace Corps and international guests

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, terrific shopping, great location
I stayed in a studio suite, and my son in a suite. Decent sized rooms with comfortable furniture and nice beds. I had a great kitchen. Excellent breakfast. TERRIFIC location. The lobby is small, but the breakfast area generous. In general, the private spaces are much nicer and more spacious than the public spaces (this is good, IMO). Many people staying there are fairly long term (week or month), so that gives it a different flavor than most large hotel chains. Peace Corps and other organizations have permanent rooms rented for rotating guests, so it has a markedly young, international flavor to the guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful, if a bit harried. They got to know you instantly, which was nice.

Staff and facilities are outstanding.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
My initial visit to Georgetown Suites was when my son was visiting colleges in teh DC area. The staff at the hotel was more than helpful, our suite was comfortable and convienent to walking to our destinations. Now that my son has decided to attend The George Washington University, I will become a frequent visitor to the Georgetown suites, I'm sure the service will only repeat itself with pleasant accommodations.

I wanted stay longer

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
It's old but clean and comfy. Good location(away from a Metro station, though). Quiet. Bit cold while I was staying. You'll get kitchen and dining space, so if you are staying longer, this hotel might be the best choice. People were nice and friendly. Check-in and out were very smooth.

Staff extremely helpful & accommodating upon arrival & throughout my entire stay.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, location
Georgetown Suites offers a friendly & warm atmosphere. The entire staff was most accommodating to my various questions and/or requests. I felt safe going out in the evenings to walk in the Georgetown area. The hotel is close to various bus lines which makes travel without a car very accessible. I'm planning to stay at Georgetown Suites again in the next couple of months.

The hotel was a peaceful retreat away from the busy center of Georgetown

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Near the Kennedy Center and central to Georgetown, the Georgetown Suites is a peaceful oasis in the busy metropolitan area of Washington D.C. The suite was quiet, clean, and well equipped. The staff were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the area, the metro, and tourist activities. While the underground parking was tight, it was fully protected and safe. I thoroughly enjoyed the week there and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Metropolitan D.C. area!

Great Location

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I really loved the location. We were closed to restaurants, stores and bus stops. Since it is located near the university campus, the streets were busy and full of life. The rooms are very spacious and clean. AC and Wi-Fi worked at all times (a plus in 90+ degrees). Breakfast was good and convenient, but not fancy. Great experience, overall.

Excellent Neighborhood, Good Value

Hotel is geared toward the business traveler, but we found it to be a nice stay. All of the rooms are suites which include a full kitchen. Our first morning there, we were unable to shower because someone had removed the shower pull to make the shower run. The staff immediately sent up someone to look at it, and when it couldn't be repaired, we were offered an upgraded room just down the hall. Breakfast in the lobby was well stocked and had a nice variety for a free breakfast. We were given a Buy one Get one free dinner voucher for an area restaurant which was a nice added bonus. The area surrounding the hotel is nice and a lot of shopping within walking distance. Also, if you are doing a tour bus, there is a stop just a few blocks down from the hotel The metro is within a 15 minute brisk walk, so it is pretty easy to get around the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially for first time metro riders. The beds were very comfortable, including the pull out couch, which was by far the most comfortable sleeper sofa I have slept on. Overall, it is a great hotel for the price, and I would stay again.
