Dont stay until a total remodel is done

Pros: I didnt like this location
Cons: A total remodel done floor to floor. The use of a high pressure water hose to clean those moldy sidewalks and walls. A total room to room checlistdone
My experience started when I got my room key, I took the elevator which has tiles falling off the wall to the third floor. Room 329 When I tried my key it didnt work I then went back down to get the key fixed. The man behind the counter gave the new coded key but wasnt sure it would work so he followed me up. He found the that key didnt work either. He then put me into the next room. I was tired from the trip so he said he have the key at the front desk. Meanwhile the brought in 2 men 1 latin 1 african american and they work to try to get 329's lock to work. They knocked on my door and asked if they could use the pass through door which there wasnt a pass through door. The latin man left the room and as I ushered the other man out he said he needed a favor. He said that he delivers papers on the weekend and needs money for gas. What employee asks guests for money? The other problems I had, the floor in room was uneven the padding had gone leaving holes, the concrete on the stairs are not even causing unsure footing, the sidewalk around the office has moldy spots causing a slip and fall problem, the sink in room 330 is rusted and broken. The televison doesnt have proper color because its very old (it only has blue and green) no matter how itried to adust it. The sink drips continually not matter how hard I tightened it. The wall outlet doesnt work between the beds so no reading light.

Pros: Price $70
Bed was too low, with thin mattress. No open windows which we prefer. No breakfast. LIVE, UPSIDE DOWN, 1-1/2 INCH COCKROACH ON BATHROOM FLOOR WHEN WE WOKE UP IN THE MORNING. Would not have eaten breakfast there even if it was offered after seeing that!

Not too bad for the money

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
The room was clean enough. The TV remote didn't work but we didn't contact mgmt, so I don't know if they would have done something or not. Also the TV seemed to be heavy on red and blue but again, not an issue for us. The bathroom door was kinda broken and the shower head was weak in our room. The shower curtain didn't want to stay closed. BUT there is a 24hr ihop within walking distance so that made up for everything! The wifi was spotty but decent once you were able to connect (The ihop had great wifi btw) We just stayed here to be close to DC. Free shuttle service to and from the metro station. Got it at a good price and it was decent. Interesting to see all the Indian women going up and down the street. The free continental breakfast wasn't the greatest but we managed to get a bagel and some juice. (we got there a bit late)

The Rear End Of The Hotel Seems A Little Ghetto

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy
The Room Was Very Comfortable, However It Is The Outside That Was Of Interest, There Seems To B e A Lot Of Drug Trafflicing And Prositution Going On That, Also Cops Were On The Scene Alot While On My Stay o_O

this hotel was horrible

Cons: Noisy
We were sent to a room on the third floor on the back of the hotel ant the elevator was at the front. We got there after miidnight because we drove from NYC and we needed to sleep because the next day we were drving to FL. That was the only thing we couldnt do at all sleep. Around 230 am some people showed up in front of or room door making a lot of noise. At first we thought that it was going to be over soon. But then we realized that there was something going on.it was like 6 different guys and they wete staying in the rooms that sorrounded ours so we were right in the middle. One of them was yelling asking for another guy and he was really angry. we didnt get out of our room for our safety. We tried calling the office an no one answered. It was a nightmare. My children were frightened. They even knocked on our door looking for the guy whoever he was. We even thought that they had weapons. All we did was pray and hope for the best. My children and I slept on the floor while my husband was awake guarding the door. It was like a terror movie. I hope you really take this serious because we thought we were not coming out of that place alive. Will never stay there again.

good service nice staff

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The room was no show place especially the bathroom, but they are starting to remodel the rooms, for the rate you got us in a city like Alexandria you can't complain. The beds were comfy the room was clean, free breakfast close to transportation.
