Excellent hotel easy access to everything

Cons: Carpeting and décor seemed a little dated, but very clean. Not a problem at all
Location: Among the hotels closest to the National Mall! Ford's Theater and Capitol Bikeshare only a block away.
Loved everything about this hotel: staff, location, breakfast, facilities, room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Located only 1 block from Metro station with direct routes to Reagan National Airport, National Mall, Arlington Cemetery, Union Station. Only blocks from these gems: 4 blocks to National Mall, 1 block to Ford's Theater, 2 blocks to Capitol Bikeshare station. Very good breakfast buffet saved time and $.

Nice hotel, very close to everything.

Location: Right across the street from the spy museum and about two blocks from the FBI building.
The location was great and very close to most of the attractions you want to visit. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We would stay there again!

Not a good night's sleep

Location: It's DC. There'a a lot!
Arrived for my one night stay about 7PM. First room we were given smelled like a smokers room, or a wet dog, or a combination of both. We called down and got another room. Went to the next room and it was hot, so we turned the AC down to 68 (we like it cold when we sleep). Immediately left for a function and returned around midnight. Room was still hot. Called down and they said we had to follow the instructions for overriding the motion sensor for the AC so it would work when no one was moving in the room, and that engineering had left for the day. I followed the instructions for overriding the thermostat, but it didn't work and we were hot all night and could not sleep without waking up regularly. Hard mattresses didn't help either. Mentioned this the next day at checkout, how we didn't sleep, and why and that we wouldn't be returning. They gave me free parking ($20 value) as a consolation. I'd have paid $100 more to be able to sleep through the night. Clearly don't know how to treat guests, and can't provide a comfortable room.

Great location.

Pros: Location
Location: Spy Museum is right across the street. The Navy Memorial is 2 blocks away. Sculpture garden within blocks.
We stay at the Courtyard Convention Center whenever visiting D.C. The location is perfect. Very friendly staff and comfortable, clean rooms.

Great location, comfortable bed

Pros: The location was perfect for DC sightseeing.
Cons: I was unable to watch the ALCS because they didn't subscribe to Fox Sports 1.
Location: The hotel is in a great location. Convention center, Spy Museum, other attractions close. Best pizza on earth is next door: District of Pi.
I stayed at this hotel for two nights recently. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was absolutely perfect.

Great Stay

Pros: Cost of Valet Parking - there were garages to self park within a block.
Cons: Nothing
This was a great location. Traveled the Metro to and from Ronald Regan (hotel 1 block from Yellow line). Walking distance to all the tourist attractions - White House, museums, restaurants, etc. The staff were extremely friendly, accomodating to our needs and professional. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet! I would definately recommend to others and would stay there again.

Nice hotel, great location near all attractions

Pros: Outstanding attention to detail in their customer service and felt very secure and catered to in a city.
Cons: The only issue was the elevator seemed to be the only way up and down and were constantly busy.
Location: It is two blocks from Verizon Center, multiple theaters, and the national mall including a multitude of cultural options and attractions.
Great experience with Courtyard Washington Convention Center. Check in and out was fast and easy. The customer service was excellent with attention to detail including a personal welcome letter upon check in and fresh local baked "thank you" cookies upon check out. The hotel felt secure with key card operated elevator and room doors as well as night security. I felt catered to with a friendly staff offering to valet, assist in travel and plans. Food options were accessible and the location is nearby attractions and food options.

Excellent staff, great location!!

Was in DC with my wife for vacation for four days and four nights at this hotel. Couldn't have asked for better service. Everyone was really nice. Great location. In walking distance of the National Mall, war memorials, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
