Not what I expected

From the photos , I though that this was a hotel in the normal sense , like a Holiday Inn or Comfort Suites. I was wrong, it was more like a motel that had not been updated in a while. My thought was , that since I am here and have paid for the room, I will check in and maybe i will be pleasantly surprised. Wrong about that too. Even though it is supposed to be a non smoking facility , the person assisting at the front desk reeked of cigarettes. When I got to the room , I was almost floored by the amount of air freshener. I looked around the room and it did not give me the level of comfort that is was clean and I am not a germaphobe . The sheets felt like cheap polyester and the room need a lot of work , In the end I decided not to stay . In my opinion , the pictures that they have displayed on the site are not a true representation of the reality . The management was not willing to refund my money , however they were willing to give a free night in the future. As far as I am concerned it is a total loss to me as I do not think I will be taking them up on their offer .
