Staff was exceptional pleasant. Even though the hotel was near the airport, it was very quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Will book again.

Great Hotel for Visiting NotreDame

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, great italian restaurant nearby
We stayed here twice recently during freshman orientation and the 1st home game weekend, Sep 1st and 2nd. We felt this hotel should have been picked by us before as we visit NotreDame atleast 4 times a year as both our Kids go to NotreDame. Perfect hotel, nice & clean, great new Hot B'fast. Beds are very comfortable. Our room was non-smoking and we did not smell any smoking smell anywhere in the hotel. Yes, the front desk staff (don't know the name) but did excellent job. We arrived late, we were greeted by our name & welcoming back home (we really felt like home). As we left DND sign on our room door, housekeeping left a polite & friendly note under the door stating unable to provide HK service but to contact front desk incase need any bath amenities. We have already informed our friends where to stay in South Bend as this is our 2nd home when we visit NotreDame/South Bend. Management doing good job, keep it up.

Meth Lab Ambiance

While the structure of the building itself felt poorly built, it seemed clean. However my NO SMOKING room smelled like a dirty cigarete. The towels were never replaced during my three day stay and the toilet could barely muster a flush. Once I had to fill the waste basket with water just to help it run its cycle. The patrons at the desk were polite, but other than that, the whole feeling of the facility was of a poorly lit, damp, undesireable building
