"The Surfrider Moana Hotel, Waikiki "
For the second consecutive year my sisters and I stayed at the beautiful Surfrider Moana Hotel on Waikiki. The hotel's location is just perfect - right in the middle of everything. The staff is outstanding - very helpful and they go above and beyond to be accommodating. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with all of the necessary ammentities. Bed linen so comfortable - just like in a spa! I've stayed at other Hawaiian hotels, and this is by far the BEST! I would recommend it to anyone.

"Best Trip Ever!"
One of the reasons we love this hotel is because we are always treated like family. Thank you to Mike Nakada, Roland, Evelyn Alanda and Lawrence. They were all very helpful and attentive. The reason we return. Chuck and the beach services staff are friendly and accommodating on the best beach on Waikiki. It is so relaxing just to sit and enjoy the view. The tower view of the ocean and Diamond Head is amazing. The sunset is beautiful. We love the historic section of this hotel, but the tower is a fun change of pace. We absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Oahu. It is peaceful and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Mahalo to our Hawaiian family.

"Great hotel but know your options "
Great hotel and staff. They are more than willing to give directions or suggestions. Parking is expensive everywhere in Waikiki. Here it was 28$/night plus tip. Pool is small but has ample lounge chairs. Breakfast is not free. Wifi only free in common areas. If you sign up for Hilton honors then you can get free wifi in room. Beach towels available at front lobby and pool to use and check out. ABC general store located across the street. Fridge in room is just to chill items. Ice machine not located on every floor.

"If you have to be in Honolulu for business ... "
a very pleasant and professional staff throughout the property; the bottles of water upon check-in an unexpected treat and something more properties should provide rather than charge for considering all hotels have a 'resort fee' charge anymore. Parking is valet only and service very prompt.

"excellent hotel, quick walk to the beach. perfect "
The embedded tourist agent (Cameron) in the hotel was able to book us to all activities we want and was really helpful, the others not that much! It is a little more expensive than you can find solo, but you don't want to waste your time doing so....

It was great! But I Think resort fee is not reasonable. if hotel need to ask that fee, it must be optional. resotr fee to every guest is not good policy. I did not use hotel facilities.

"Average experience "
Great location to the beach and local stores. Disappointing pool hours (8am-7pm). Over priced buffet, and the sink water smelled in my room. When i booked my room i requested a partial ocean view with a king bed. When i checked in all they had was a city ciew and 2 twin beds. I had no other choice to pay $120 extra for a "upsell" to a king bed and partial ocean view. I guess a reservation doesnt mean youll get what you reserve...weird.

"The Assistant Manager "Clayton Pono" "
Prior to arriving we originally booked for 1 night. Then we realized we had more time off from work, so we booked for a second but wasn't able to add on to the first reservation. So we made two separate reservations. Even though it was the 4th of July weekend and busy as ever, when we checked-in, the Assistant Manager "Clayton Pono" was able to combine our two reservations into one so we didn't have to change rooms. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything, and our stay was most enjoyable and worry-free. He made sure it was a smooth transition for us and we are forever grateful! The room was magnificently beautiful and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! We can't wait to go back next year!
